I was idly messing around with a straw, looked down and suddenly noticed that THERE WAS A DEMON IN MY MILKSHAKE

i left my amp on today for like 14 hours straight by accident
it was already ont he fritz but now its really dead LOL

Get that thing off me! jk, sounds like you're in the same boat as me. Not having an amp sucks especially when I'm supposed to have band practice soon.

im using this ultra shit deville and it hasnt had a tube swap or service in about 20 years literally
im still using it at rehearsals it just gets drowned in treble fuzz anyway

While we're on the subject...do you know how long an amp has to be sitting un-used (and turned off) before you need to drain the caps of charge?
I haven't played electric in a while...just wondering if I need to do this before I turn it on again...

today was weird

i'm bothered with this big gap on my pedalboard... and filling it with a footswitch doesn't help... that's cheating...

(but i shouldn't buy anything else, really... )

lol no just turn it back on
if you open the amp up and doing some work on it then and u just used it recently then you wanna discharge the caps so you dont die a horrific death
if its just sitting round the house for a couple months its fine

i have a big gap in my board waiting for the 3-knob Great Wall that STILL HASN'T ARRIVED FROM CANADA. but i did manage to rearrange the board so that everything will fit and the tall boxes--the Boss RV-3/TR-2 and such--are on the back tier and i don't have to step over them to get to the fuzz, and so the Phantom Ring can go first in the chain and unleash the fucking fury. i'm rather proud of the fact that i managed to cram 12 boxes, three of which are double-width and two of which are Boss bricks, onto a Pedaltrain Jr.
