THAT'S what that was! Right! I had the Long Trail Hibernator, which was tasty.
Just had Friday beer lunch with work peeps, and got a Young's Double Chocolate Stout on tap... super delicious, but now I'm ready for a nap...

WOOOOOOOOOOOORD TO THE MOOOTHHHAAAAAA.
It's always such a joyous celebration every year when Hopslime comes out. And I call it "Hopslime" affectionately. It's sooooo good. I work at the Whole Foods here in THIS TOWN, and the beer wench said Bell's wasn't releasing it until February, then I was in to get some Founders Double Trouble (a great DIPA, just not as good as Hopslam) and one of my pals was like "Dude, get some Hopslam." And I was all "HAW HAW" but then I looked and it was there in all its hoppy glory. I only managed to get one six pack before it sold out. Didn't think it would happen that fast. Maybe I should get one of those Hopslam minikegs this year.
You live in Cleveland? I'm a big fan of Great Lakes Brewing Company's Commadore Perry... super-good IPA for the low low price of $8.99. Can't go wrong.
Thanks everyone for keeping THE BEER THREAD(?)----->!!! alive!

I just had some Delirium Noël the other night... and I just didn't like it. Is something wrong with me?
I'll just drown my sorrows with something nice tonight.

I feel you, G.
I think the whole Delirium line is overpriced and undertaste. And by "undertaste" I mean not tasty.
The aesthetic is pretty killer... the bottles, the artwork, the oliphaunts. It's just not at all worth it for the price.
Get yourself a bottle of Unibroue's La Fin Du Monde and save yourself some $$$ on a waaaaaaaay better beer.

Definitely will try to see if La Fin Du Monde is around here, but Tremens & Nocturnum are pretty good in my book. Also, it's surprising how many spring varieties are popping up already. It's the middle of January, guys!

I first had La Fin Du Monde at a dinner in Disney World. Slammed 5 bottles during dinner and was majorly wasted. I almost fell in the the big lake in Epcot.

YAAAAAAAH!

Definitely my comfort beer. If you look back far enough in this thread, I'm sure I've already said this, but I describe it as like drinking an electric blanket.

VERY!!!
Dogfish Head Burton Baton for me.
Next year Burton becomes one of the Year Round Brews. I saw the huge oak barrels that they store it in. It's quite amazing.
The one in the back is for all the Palo Santo Marron. The other 2 are for the Burton Baton. I think they've added 2 more. The parking lot has the remains of a couple old, used-up barrels.

Last night was good: Old Speckled Hen on tap, followed by Revival (a new PVD local brewing co.) Imperial Stout. Much happiness was had by all in my belly.

personally i think La Fin Du Monde is more hyped than Delerium, and its priced about the same, or more expensive.
