Realized yesterday that my pedal board is just an emulation of an overdriven Fender amp with a huge spring reverb tank.

i think the internet should have HTML code established which will read tagged text in the voice it's tagged with, e.g. <voice="Johnny Cash">I wouldn't do that if i were you, son</voice>. Sometimes i do the typed tags to get a voice across even now, pre-implementation.

Dubs, you're a genius.
That's an excellent starting point.

Sooooooooooo, I'm gonna be jamming in a big empty cathedral sometime this week/weekend, and I'm finding it very enticing to just shout "Hail Satan" when I'm in there.

Re: The Confessions Thread
I punched myself in the head earlier out of frustration.
It's a really fucking primal and stupid thing to do, and I'm embarrassed by the fact I did it.
I just really wish my life wasn't so fucking stressful constantly and that I could just get shit done without fucking failing at it all.

you need to find a way to turn the stress energy into productive energy or something.
It's hard to get things done unhappy

No gig, just jamming with a friend in an empty church (He has keys). The kicker is that he's catholic. My V4 should be up and running by the time we go though, so I'm thinking about cranking it to 10 (both channels) and just destroy. I kinda want to set up some way to record that, because, you know, DEM ACOUSTICS.
Also of note, it was the exact church my Mom (and I, presumably) was excommunicated from.

Earlier in the semester I turned stress energy into biking energy.
But I can hardly find the time to go out anymore.
So I don't have a good stress outlet and I'm stuck in my stress nexus.
A lot of it is due to poor time management and general shittiness on my part.
I'm just ready for this semester to be over so I can start again with a clean slate.
But thank you, that's really good advice.
I do need to be more mindful of the outlets my stress finds.
Its just hard to be happy when I feel like I'm performing poorly in school and stuff.
Really throws off my whole game.

Re: The Confessions Thread
Yeah I feel that man. I just think being in a good emotional state is a good place to start. it makes doing all the other stuff sooo much easier. I've been trying to focus on building good habits. Maybe like meditation is worth a try? or maybe SMOKING WEED.
I've found writing things down really does wonders for me lately. it really helps to get things out of your head.

Re: The Confessions Thread
A couple people have told me to try smoking, haha.
I just don't think it could help me, only cover up a problem.
I need to get my mental state back in order, and through sober means, I feel.
Meditating actually sounds like a really good idea.

I find that weight lifting, or just working out in general is a great way to shed off stress.
