Loveless would be better if they, like...
...EQd the bass guitar in some more. Or at all.
Should have done that in the re-release.
"When the Sun Hits" by Slowdive does the same thing; the chorus would blow me away if there was more bass oomph.
Just sayin'.

So I downloaded this app called Tinder. If you haven't heard of it, it's basically an app where you are given pictures of single dudes or girls within a radius that you can set with your location at the center. you check yes or no for hot or not. Most people use it to find someone to fuck. If two people both give each other thumbs up you are "matched" and can then IM each other thru the app. It's weird. My strat so far is to like EVERY single picture and see who likes me back. It's really crazy how many people are into this thing, I haven't seen the same person twice yet

Yeah. I love the tunes on Loveless but where that bass at? The whole thing just sounds kind of dull and weak.

Another good reason to catch them live when they come around: Deb really brings it.

I wish I had lived completely alone just once before I got married. I went from living with parents, living with roommates, living with girl I dated, living with band mates, back to the parents for a quick stay, and then married. Now I have a kid and my wife is a stay at home mom. I haven't had the house to myself in 2 years.

Every single track I've ever laid down for a band has been the result of the self-imposed question "what would Mike Watt play on this?"

That can only be a good thing.
Also, I'm watching Redd Foxx standup and, having only known him as Fred Sanford, it's like

I sometimes wonder if anyone beyond my family really cares about my music.
A few days ago, an old track of mine on soundcloud suddenly received a couple hundred plays. Ether someone realllllly likes me, or a bot did it.
Moments like that make me question if this is worth it. But then I remember that music is work like anything else. Just fun work. Make it and they will come.
I've also realized that while I'm ok working somewhere relatively ok and cool, I'm not as happy as I could be.
All the more affirming to me that I need to pursue my passion if I want to be happy.
