VIVA LOS POINTYS! Love the B.C.Rich's. Every one I've ever played has been wonderful. Wonderful isn't a very metal term, but it fits.

Here's my ultimate pointy pointy DBZ.

My friends kid was fascinated.

Awesome guitar. balanced, super light. the V neck carve is rad, kinda combines what I like about chunky necks with what I like about wizard profiles. Plays awesome. Only downside is I got it right before I got obsessed with 12 strings. It only saw a few shows but I'm keeping it because its so damn evil  :thumb:

Hey all, first post on ILF but I've been on various forums for a few years. Figured this is a good place to start

Nice, nice, nice. If I had to pick one, it'd probably be the white Melody Maker with the humbucker. No idea why.

Haha thanks. I gotta say, even though its certainly the cheapest of the lot it still gets quite a bit of play time and sounds great. Pretty sweet for a $299 american made guitar :!!!:

That is a seriously nice guitar that can be picked up for less than 5 bills. Looking into getting a CIJ from the 70s/early 80s myself and this model looks like a great fit. Do you happen to know how much it weighs?

Thanks, yup got it for $300 and managed to pick it up while out of town on a work appointment. I really dig the stock pickups quite a lot, that's usually the first thing I want to change on any guitar. I haven't weighed it, but it's pretty comfortable and I'm a total wimp when it comes to instrument weight, because I have a bad left shoulder. The fact that it's similar to Fender scale length instead of Gibson style is a huge bonus for me.

Thanks :thumb: I want to pick up a similar era Roadster bass in sunburst finish, to go with it. Haven't found one for the right price yet though.

Pulled the Tele out for the first time in a while today, release I hadn't shared her here. Quick & dirty -

Koa top on 'hogany, chambered carved body; Sq51 1-piece neck; Porter Pickups w/ 4way switch, GFS seethru sparkle guard, rest of the hardware salvaged from a half dozen different places and guitars. Put her together 10+ years ago. Some changes over the years, but more or less my #1.
