aesthetics IS importants. i don't really dig on the mojo from old pedals though. i like shiny new things.

this is really the favorite looking thing i have i think.........

meh. they're way less noticeable and kinda blend in in real life than in a close-up pic. i might buy some metal 'uns and scuff 'em up someday. stoopid levels of pretty right now though.

Yeah, noticed the switch. I'm hoping it's one of those little screw-post jobs, but if not, no biggie.
I'm going to give it a run with the humbuckers in it, and will probably swap in 2 p90's for them

Either way it's an easy fix.
I played one yesterday and really liked the pickups. They are a little "dark" but that's what I like about them.

Awesome! I'm kind of hoping I like them enough to sell the Pig 90 pickup I was going to put in it to make up for the cost. 'Dark' sounds awesome to me. I'm excited for dark clean tones. I love them 1000x more than twangy jangly cleans!!!

Not that you'll be using it for this style, but this demo is pretty accurate to my ears:

yah. i was kinda meh about the Nimbus at home. well, that's not true. meh with clean tone, liked with dirt, liked a LOT with fuzz.

but at practice through the Loud Amp it was pretty much exactly what i wanted. woot!
