I'd recommend not using Anti Aliasing and the other filters, they're a major drain.

And that's how you loose half your target market. I'm still excited though.
Fuck that noise. I already assumed it was going to be awful, but knew I'd play it anyway. You know that it will be like 2 years between episodes. Because Square.Andrew wrote:I wish they finalized ZoE for Vita that they were originally planning to.

Same boat. Had really low expectations, but it's been surprisingly enjoyable.Andrew wrote:I started Fallout 4 and I like it much more than I thought I would.
Though FO3 and NV were great - I wasn't as enraptured as others are and this version skims the bullshit out. Probably am in the right mindset to play it now, straight after a TW3/MGSV high it probably wouldn't have hit me as hard.
Wii U is the unsung hero of this generation, so many great games! Make sure you pick up Xenoblade Chronicles X - that game's amazing.superslidetail wrote:Let's start my new membership with a video games post. Seems appropriate.
I'm waiting on Fallout 4 until they release the inevitable GOTY Edition. All the bugs in F3 and NV were annoying as hell but both games were just too damn fun for me to stop playing them. I anticipate getting a PS4 for Christmas plus I just bought my wife a Wii U as her Christmas gift so I will finally be into the next console generation.
I'm kind of confused as to why it's meant to be a free to play game but they're charging for the beta. Is that normal? I was kinda excited but the thought of paying for a janky half-finished version was a little offputting so I might wait. I'd happily pay for a fixed version in a few months though. It seems like such a niche market that it'd be destined to fail but I'll keep hoping.Andrew wrote:Aawww man that GiTS game is janky as fuck. The hit detection is way off, instantly killed while enemies seem to be absolute tanks and I've been getting more +30 Assist points than deaths and kills. But the presentation is great and they have all the English dub actors which adds to the authenticity. So right now it's alright, I just hope that it's worth fixing to keep it alive for a year.
I'd rather spend $5 on a FPS game than deal with a fremium style bullshit and hopefully keeps the community active... but I hope they keep working on it.
I played a little more and my overall impressions improved after 5 hours. Need to turn off AA and Vsync and had a much smoother experience. Decked out my M4 with a nice suppressor, sight and lazer so thats fun.backwardsvoyager wrote:I'm kind of confused as to why it's meant to be a free to play game but they're charging for the beta.
