Out of curiosity; what PU's do you have in that TC72 and how do you like them? I'm getting some Lollars for mine next week (Regal and Special T).
I have a set by The Creamery. Jaime is in the Uk and does pretty amazing stuff. I have a. Purple friends who did business with him after I got my set for this Telecaster and all have nothing but praise.
Jaime does every set custom. Basically I wanted a classic Wide Range and a bridge that would work with it. We agreed on a late '60s early '70s style bridge and he balanced it to the Iwde Range. He really nailed it.
I have pick ups from Fralin and Hepcat (a French guy) but I honestly don't see myself doing business with another shop in the future.
You can hear these pickups clean extensively in my Walrus descent video.
Damn, someone should have told me those existed. They sound grand! Oh well, I'm sure the Lollars will be a massive upgrade anyways. If I don't care for them I'll be sure to contact this Jaime

Yeah these are really really good. A friend as a Jazzmaster neck on his Jazzcaster that was made by Jaime... I've contemplated multiple times changing the boutiquey Parisian ones that are in my Mascis...
Jaime's a very nice guy and he'll take the time to discuss things with you to make sure he's building you the proper stuff. He doesn't keeps things in stocks, every set is custom wound so he'll cater to you every desire. That how good he is. Plus he's in UK so low shipping

Ok, Casanova can't be my Santa. If he had stalked me he'd see I sing the Creamery gospel whenever someone asks for which pickups to go. I have a pair of Red '79 in my Squier Duosonic and the guitar now sounds so amazing it is unreal.

The guitar looks cool man! I'd love to know how it feels!!!
Yeah, it's by far gotta be one of the coolest inlay jobs I've ever seen. I gotta give what's left of the frets a polish. Overall it feels like it could give you splinters at any moment hahah. Once I put poly on it will feel better. As far as what it feels like to play, it's pretty neat. The body is really resonant. I need to fool around with the lipstick pickup. Either raise it up or swap it out for one of the original Teisco pickups. I like the way it sounds, I just bolted it to the body instead of actually attaching it to the pickguard (which I will do before I try swapping it out for the Teisco pickup)

Thanks man. I had a lot of fun with it. Was super spur of the moment

DD: Definitely checking him out for my next PU needs!
phantasmagorovich:I ordered my Lollars before SS started. About two months ago. I knew of The Creamery, just not that he made ride range buckers.

Happy to see the Maton being loved on the top end of the rock. They are made in my home city. I also have an MS500 in sunburst. Standard model. Mine doesn't have the body binding though. Awesome collection dude

Thanks!
I def love the Maton. Gorgeously crafted, plays incredibly, lots of sonic variety, and very lightweight. I used to own a BB1200JH as well but eventually sold it to fund the EGC Chessie.

New guitar day
2012 Gibson Les Paul Studio Silverburst. I got it off ebay for a steal, and its mint. Just changed the strings, gave it a set up, and it sounds like butter. Its like it hasn't been played more than 5 times. My hands reek like nitrocellulose after the smallest bit of playing.

Messed around with my LP "the Paul" the other day...
-Replaced the Dimarzio FRED neck pickup with a GFS mean 90 neck (didn't like it in my tele but I like it here a lot)
-Removed the control plate and rewired/cleaned up the pickup cavity...
-The old pickup toggle spot is now a kill/stutter button
-Neck tone control removed and replaced with pickup selector
-new knobs just cause haha

Obligatory awful Instagram photo of my HEAVILY modified Jagmaster
-Strat neck pup from some no-name super strat
-Nocaster Bridge pup
-Jaguar plates and controls (sans rhythm circuit)
-DIY (and therefore ugly) Frampton Comes Alive pickguard. This was just a test, I plan on doing a better one with an album I actually like.
-Slightly sanded finish to do away with gloss.
I am super happy with it right now. I will be getting some copper shielding tape next week to make it less noisy and I eventually wanna put a maple fretboard neck (with black block inlays hopefuly

) and a Jag/Jazzy floating tremolo. As well as adding the rhythm circuit, but I'm not so concerned with that.

I love the tele pickup in there! I need to get on with modding my jag once I have time and cash. It's my first guitar I bought myself but I never play it anymore, so I should definitely mod it and start playing again!

NGD! Jackson Adrian Smith signature SDX. I'm 32 years old, have been playing guitar for over 20 years, and this is the first time I've owned something with a Floyd Rose on it.
