It's weird to me that some people can wake up, shoot out of bed and they're ready to tackle the day. I always feel dehydrated and like I slept in a weird position all night. It's much more "fffffffuck..." than "YEAH, LET'S DO THISSSSS".
I've never woken up with any energy or enthusiasm. Ever. If I feel remotely awake after three hours then it is a good day.

got a new soldering iron, and a trem and reverb to make this week. also planned out a new record and made a track list. also going to start recording this week. feeling good about feeling sad but doing things that make me happy.

I somehow got away with not having to sell any guitars to pick up this Verellen Head and STILL put half of the money earned from selling both of my heads towards apartment furnature.
ALSO, these new aluminum saddles on the Duo Sonic are fucking amazing. I NEVER thought I would like such a small scale guitar. But its so twangy, harmonically rich, and fucking FUN. It takes me out of my element and just explore.

the time i saw Earth it was a disappointment...they were playing at the Great American Music Hall in SF opening for Merzbow and Circle. it was probably venue dB restrictions, but they played way too quietly for the overtones which only become audible at sick volume levels to fill out the music and came off as ham-fisted Minimalism. several of the people i talked with while having a smoke outside agreed with me. so i hope they're loud enough.

That sucks man, but I have to agree about the last time that I saw them- it was on their most recent tour. The FIRST time I saw them they were opening for Pelican, and using all of Pelican's gear. It was fucking IMMENSE. Everything hurt, and it was CLEAN GUITAR. It was fucking awesome. They were still playing Hex too which is one of my favorites

Asking this girl I've mentioned on here before out on a date tonight. I like her more than I have ever liked anyone before. It has messed with the way I think and feel like crazy. If she is interested I will be supremely happy. If she isn't, at least I'll be able to get head and emotions back to normal.
