MAN I LOVE IT BUT I'M TRYING TO DOWNSIZE TO ONE RACK HARD CHOICES MUST BE MADE OKAY DON'T FUZZ-SHAME ME BRO.
fever606 wrote:Have it. Love it. The two modes (wave/formant) manage to sound similar enough that you can use them in similar contexts, but different enough that there's an immense spectrum of sounds available.

Plus it FMs. And it has a built-in VCA, which should just be a requirement.

Yeah, I'm the resident Mannequins fanboy. But for good reason.
this. this here? is ENCOURAGING. i was already excited, now i am TUMESCENT.

MUSE WIN FOR TWOS - i am LOVING the Mimmy Distalia. super fun and interactive, pretty amazing how easy it is to do a lot in such a small space.

That RML fuzz looks hot but I just can't see a world where I'm cool with giving up 28hp for a fuzzzzzzzzz

Just wanna chime in on the Mannequins love. Sisters and JF won't be leaving my rack and I plan on adding Cold Mac and a Mangrove (or two), not just because if their features/sound but because of the whole company's design philosophy. In my uses thus far Sisters and JF have the perfect balance between limitations and freedom, and I really love their interconnected nature. & to a lesser but significant degree of importance, their aesthetics are super on point.

Bitwig just changed my world..... I don’t know what the hell I was doing trying to make music with Pro Tools for so long. Clock is synced with my euro and when my ES-8 arrives I’ll have cv control from computer to hardware or from hardware to computer. So cool and the workflow is 1000% better than what I was dealing trying to make music in Pro Tools. SO pumped.

Also have a Pulp Logic case and portable battery incoming for nature / camping sessions!

jia. my Mangrove hits Thursday, itching to try a JF and second TWINS YEAH TRIPLETS, but just from watching vidja after vidja after VIDJA and pawing at the images onscreen, it just feels like such an interconnected idea system that i WANT TO EXPLORE.

i am listening. i've used Cubase forever, tried so many times to get into Live and just CAN'T, Cubase i just stick with for comfort levels. i don't use the DAW for tons of stuff, but tighter integration GOOD.

Damn, I need monies for a Teletype and I don't use my Mescaline because I don't have time and space for it (it kinda made me want a Matter though, but not enough HP in my system).
If anyone in this thread is interested, there's an additional discount for you compared to my BST post :).

Anyone here have a Belgrad? I'm drunk with extra space and the Cinnamon hasn't really wowed me as a complimenting filter to the Three Sisters. I mean it's good but not AMAZENUTS.

The Belgrad sounds like heaven in demos.

I have a Belgrad, I really dig it. It is a good sound design filter since it has all of the different filter types, some of the differences are subtle but overall, there is a wide palette of sounds available. Plenty of modulation inputs and the some of the parameters are unique.

I used to have a Belgrad and can confirm everything Delta said above. It can get pretty gnarly with the FM input as well. It's a great filter. I ended up including mine in a trade deal, but wouldn't hesitate to pick up one again

I, too, had a Belgrad. Really liked it, but ultimately didn't love the space it took up/lack of conventional filter sounds.

It really was a great sounding filter, and now that I'm back up to 416hp I'd probably throw one in again, but it's not my favorite filter (JOVE).

Speaking of filters, that Morgasmatron calls me. Trying to resist the urge.
