Well, since everybody is giving hints and spoiling... mine headed out last wednesday... to the us.... but more to the pacific side than to the atlantic side...

I had a feeling when I read this more to the Pacific side.

So cool to be one of the recipients of a European Secret Santa. That in and of itself makes mah Chrimbus.

What's up with all the Bauhaus tape? Do I need to pirate some Bauhaus now?

PS,...the rocks weren't part of the gift,...just set the present up on the mantle next to that big hunk of fluorite (and other random rocks and crystals) for "ambiance" and to show off my big hunk of fluorite (and other random rocks and crystals).

I'm so glad you got it without having troubles with customs :joy:
As far as the Bauhaus tape goes- It's like the european version of your "home depot" stores... and it was the only strong tape I had at home
Oh- and you should probably not keep it next to a heater or something... some things could melt...

Sent mine out today, a little later than I'd wanted to but I had some last minute thangs to get.

Annnnnnd...yyyyyyaaaaaaaayyyyyyy mine came in today! I think I know who my SS is purely based on location and process of elimination haha, but I can't be totally sure.

This is going to be a torturous 16 days until I can open this monstrous box of awesome sauce. :mope:

Oh gawd I hope it's Kinder,....the wife and I love that shit  . But any sort of European treats will do.

Hopefully that wife got her bonus today and we can go get mah Tele from the shop over the weekend,...otherwise I don't think I can resist a premature opening of my SS. :erm:

Oh crap... ... sorry do disappoint you in advance... no kinder... I thought that was more the german thing...
I can't hold you off from opening it before christmas... But I can try to talk to you... just think about the kids... the kids everywhere in the world that are patiently waiting for christmas to come so they can open their packages... if a little child can do it.. you can do it too... or not... it's your decision

God I hope mine gets here on dec. 23rd so I don't have to wait so freaking long...

Kinder is more of a German thing,...but I figured it was easily available in Austria as well.

Kinder has all kinds of candy's. I have a German American friend who's family came over from Germany for a visit after he and his wife got married. They brought with them a suitcase full of Kinder. We feasted. I think any sort of Hazelnut confection was our favorite. I think they actually sell Kinder at the Cost Plus World Market in town. Looks like I am reminded of where to go for stocking stuffers.

Kinder or no Knider,...there will be no disappointment,...:snax: on :snax:

Oh and in other news,....looks like I can pick up my Tele tomorrow. Premature Ejaculation averted.

Also got FB confirmation that my SS received his package with the exclamation that both are perfect. YAY!

EDIT: The wife wants to know if they are Mozart Balls?

Yeah- Kinder is available easily but I just thought it's not a local austrian candy...
And maybe there are some of Mozarts balls in there :poke:

Kinder eggs are illegal in the United States! No, seriously! Apparently American children haven't evolved the ability to only eat parts of things, instead of sticking the whole thing into their mouth, and as a result, you can be fined and everything! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinder_Sur ... ted_States

Kinder eggs are awesome. My step-mom stayed in touch with an exchange student friend from Germany. Growing up, we would get sent all these goody boxes.

I love Kinder eggs, and haven't had them in years and years. I had family in Munich, Germany for a long time, so they would send it over.
