I've been playing MGS3 and hadn't saved in the past 2 hours...and then it was all "Ummm...I don't think I'm going to read this disc anymore..."

It's not messed up, your disc just has 95% camo.

Corrupt files are the worst. Thankfully they've only happened to me once or twice.

I was going for a no kills/no alerts run in MGS3 last year. I ended up with no alerts and ONE KILL WHAT THE F--

I've also been at 96.4% completion of MGS2: Substance since 2004. The levels I need to complete are nigh-impossible with my loose PS2 joystick.

Never had anything corrupt with a video game.
But I absolutely hate when I transfer seasons of TV shows (or other such media) onto DVDs for storage and pull them out to play a while later, only to find that 90% of them just won't play.

One time, I left a tape recorder on in my TV room while I was at school. That night, I was astonished to hear Super Smash Bros. accepting bribe money from Starfox 64  .

Why can't I find a job?!?!?!?!

I backed out of getting an apartment with my best friend, because I know he doesn't have the money for it and I don't think he should put himself that position.
He's not very happy with me, to say the least.
Now I'm bummed out because I let him down by trying to look out for him.

I would consider this to be what a real friend does.

If he's a real friend; he'll get over it.

 You could tell him you're secretly attracted to him and you thought living so close while knowing you can't have him would be too difficult. It should work, unless he's secretly attracted to you. However, in that case, you only need a one room apartment and could totally afford it. It's a win-win.

I believe they call that a deviated septum. Which kind of sounds like your sinuses are a secret hideout for some kind of international organization of cyber-criminals.
