I kinda like smoking things, as in the feeling of inhaling smoke. Not to mention the ritual of it all is relaxing, like a Japanese tea ceremony.

We're all drunk at work. It's fun.

The only thing that bothers me about the legalization and regulation of Marijuana and Hemp is Monsanto and other giant agri/industry getting their grubby little hands on my bud. I want to smoke green,...not radioactive fertilizers.

This is probably just an irrational and unsubstantiated fear.

my cousin worked as a chemical engineer for monsanto. i lived with her for about a month this summer, and i think i can honestly say it's such a creepy place. the day after i was browsing a drug forum on my computer w/ her internet she got drug tested. i don't think it's a coincidence because she was pregnant at the time. (it was even weirder, because she moved into an apartment without telling them. although we kept the router box, if that means much.) a lot of little stuff like that happened and it just made me super uncomfortable.

plus her opinions on a lot of things have changed so much since she's started working there. she just creeps me out now. most uncomfortable month of my life.

so yeah. i agree. i just want to one day be able to legally grow my own plants. hopefully seeds won't be gm'd to death by then.

Ha, this morning before I left for school I noticed I still had my lighter and two joints in my jacket pocket from last night, so I set them on the microwave and left.

At like 1:35 my mom texted me to say she had come home from work early because she had an awful headache, though this did not worry me as I had completely forgotten about the joints...

When I got home she was asleep and I went to make coffee and BAM! there they were still on the microwave, so I pokceted them and hoped she hadn't noticed, she hadn't said anything when I walked in.

About an hour ago she called me for dinner and while I was washing a plate she was all like "So what's that drug stuff for?" and I explained that it was for marijuana and she was fine with it, ha. She said maybe she should have had some for her headache...

i have smoked with my old drummers father in law that is 78!

My Mom probably smokes more weed than I do.

I knew I'd find it eventually.

I finally opened my beer bottle after fucking around with a pocket knife for a while! Should have brought the bottle opener from downstairs, but I'm too lazy to go back down and come back up.

I've enjoyed gettin' my drank on e'er night, but I need to get some cash so I can buy weed! I finally found somebody in town with a hook-up and now I'm broke, stealing beer from my dad's fridge. I wonder if/when he'll notice. He only drinks Miller Lite but has/had a stockpile of random beers from various parties or whatevs that I've been taking from over the last two years or so. It has increased dramatically over the last two weeks since I turned legal and didn't care if they knew I was drinking.

though i got to really dislike Tom Robbins' books over the years, viewing him as a über-bullshit artist, one thing i still remember affectionately is the bit in Still Life With Woodpecker where he talks about how he loves smoking and concludes "it's not the smoke we're after...it's the fire." at least half of what i loved about smoking cigarettes was having something to play with, or as i used to say "something for my body to do while my brain is rocketing along at a million miles an hour." i do really enjoy the ritualistic aspect of pot smoking, the selecting the bud, breaking it up, loading the bowl & c.

Boehner looks like he's either about to cry or cut a massive fart. Then again, he always looks like that. I want to know what's in that silver thing in front of him. Some really classy liquor that's been aging since Thomas Jefferson was president?

I love that John Kerry and John McCain are sitting next to each other. They can both grumble about how that should be them up there together.
