Sam, I think you want a vibe.

The Vibe sounds nice...never thought about that before.

as for Phaser, I've seen phasers on so many boards which is why its even one of the options, but having listened to reviews on youtube, its seem like the tones are really useful for lead players, which is something i don't do much of at all.

i use phaser sparingly. after fuzz. i don't play lead parts.

it can sound awesome. and it does.

It ain't too shabby!!!! Just waiting for the left hand dark template and I'll be happy. Oh and totally go for that Earth 100w bass head, my friend Helena in Akris uses them and they sound sick!

i'd go for the Peavey Festival out of those, it's the only one not overpriced. although that Mark VI looks sweet as hell, as does the Earth, but i wouldn't pay that much for either.

for 300$ you could get a GK 800RB.

I might be moving out for the first time soon. It's not set in stone yet but it's going to mean less gear for me (I'll have less money) and I won't be able to crank my amps whenever I want. It's going to be a big change.

I know that feel bro, I have barely been able to afford anything since buying my house last May. But its such a sense of accomplishment and independence that its totally worth it. Congrats!

It's not a huge step, but I don't think I'm capable of anything more. My plan is to move in my with sister and her boyfriend. Her house has five bedrooms, so I could have the one downstairs and be far away from them. For privacy reasons that's a good idea, but also because it's an extension built on to the property and feels, somehow, like an entirely different house all on its own, which would be a nice way to ease me into the thrill (and responsibilities) of owning my own space.

That sounds like a good idea my friend, that way your "landlord" is someone you trust and communicate with. That will definitely help ease you into living on your own. And 5 bedrooms for 3 people? You should have plenty of privacy.

Rent will actually be less than what I pay my mum currently, but there will be higher food bills and more to worry about, such as Internet, electricity, heating, etc. I'm really nervous and worried, but I've decided to be out of here no matter what by the end of the summer.

I've been slowly downsizing my rig for the last couple years for that exact reason (additional mobility). It's kinda sad, but (at least for me) I feel a little bit like a dick hoarding things I'm not really going to use.

... B/S/T thread coming soon.

Also, picked up the new Blaak Heat Shujaa album today--The Edge of An Era.

Definitely more desert than doom, but I really dig it.

I'm gonna be the roadie for the Druden tour at the end of the month/beginning of next month. Not gonna be at the Washington shows, though.
Super excited about it. Are any of y'all gonna be out for any of those shows?

I'll be out at the Mountain show for sure, possibly the Santa Barbara one too.

What do you play in Indian? I may have met you when you guys played SLO last year...my GF and I bought you and HOF the bottle of Jager at SLO Brew.
