My band met up with a new drummer Monday night and things started off REALLY well, potentially a perfect fit (at least until we hear him play)

We finally got a practice space, the room is all ours, with lockable doors (inside an old building downtown) so we can safely leave equipment inside, we get our own key and can use it whenever and be as noisy as we want. Best of all it's free.

Also we found someone who is really interested in recording us, and from what he has showed us he is pretty legit, a friend of our guitarist, so he is really going to charge us, he just got out of school and wants to start building a portfolio.

This is the best outlook Indian Space Station has had in over a year.

Two things: I've ordered a bunch of parts and I'm going to mod the shit out of two gameboys; backlight mods, pro-sound mods, and reduced clock-speed mods. Gonna mangle me some chiptunes :animal:

Also, I've noticed that I've been logged into ILF for a few days without having to log in. I'm really just indifferent to this. Because, while it's nice to be logged in all the time, it also means that it can now be known how often I'm on here :erm:

I found out this morning that #7-0 do not function anymore, which is a problem because I need those keys to unlock my computer haha. Oh well, it had a good run.

I had the speakers but they really weren't worth the effort, made the thing crazy big. But it did have built-in lights that were great for road trips. I think the mods I'm doing will essentially make my gameboy equivalent to that one, but it'll look like this:

I guess I'm going to drink PBR and play minecraft all night. Kate's unavailable for the weekend (on a retreat to a monastery for the weekend through her Vincentian college), and I have work off until Monday. So, I'm hanging with people, I guess. I just hate sitting around on my days off, and it's usually not that bad, if I can chat with her.

Hopefully I'll have some adventures, or something.
