I looked outside my window in class, and the college has these little spiky things that they put up in order to keep birds from just chilling on the windows, and there was like this rotted, dead bird just impaled on one of them. shit made me sad

my roommate muttered something snotty about having to do something around the house he thought was excessive one tme too many and i blew my stack at him. the phrase "rip your head off and shit in it" was used, as well as "get out of my face, MOTHERFUCKER." i shout extremely loudly. from the sounds in the back of the house he may now be packing his things.

This guy.
You tryin' to defraud people there, kid?
They finally caught me.
Nah, someone got a hold of my debit card number, so I'm out a couple hundred dollars and my card is frozen.
That sucks. At least it's not worse. Good thing the fraud dept. called when they did.

Aw, man, that is a huge bummer.
Things will get better for you, hopefully sooner rather than later. Sounds like you really need it.

Yeah, they caught it on some absurd charge coming from Home Depot, but two identical charges for over a hundred bucks made it in before that.
Now I have to wait for those charges to go through (they are pending) before I can file a fraud claim on them.
Several of my friends have gotten it way worse than me. Not stressing about it, just wicked inconvenient seeings as I don't carry cash.
I will finally be able to get to the bank tomorrow, though.

he did. i guess it was cheaper than living in Miami; from what i overheard him saying to someone on the phone when i came back from the store today that was a major factor.

or not. i'd just as soon not deal with his drunken behavior, his dismissal of just about every artist i love with "yeucccch," his insistence that Paul Weller is better than Ray Davies, his habit of demanding that i watch some Fred McDowell YouTube clip RIGHT NOW or that i "PLAY THE BLUES" when he's four sheets to the wind (i HATE playing the blues), or his whining about his cat allergy when he knew from the beginning that i had a damn cat. he's a good man in many ways and i love him, but i don't know that we're compatible roommates.

Ray Davies makes me really angry. Actually so does Paul Weller, they're both shit, but Ray Davies is probably more shit.
I am up at 4:30 sort of doing a minute of work every half an hour for something that won't even take long and I need to be up in 3 hours and I have no idea at all why I've done this completely unnecessary thing that means I'll feel like shit tomorrow and get nothing done AGAIN. I miss when my mood was more even day to day, now it's pretty much alternate days "everything is pretty ok woo" and "fuck fuck fuck I have RUINED EVERYTHING and I'm going to flake out on life I hope I get hit by a bus". The worst part is the constant knowledge that if I did a reasonable amount of work every day this wouldn't happen (except for the occasional insane panic) and I still don't just man up and do that. I'm glad this is a cool anonymous place to bitch and moan like a loser.

sometimes i really like Ray (the 60s Kinks hits, "Waterloo Sunset,"
Muswell Hillbillies), other times he's mildly irritating. he's a good songwriter, though. to me, Weller has nothing to recommend him at all except that he's written a couple of decent-but-not-great songs, and his gee-i'm-great macho preening makes me ill...because he doesn't have the shit to back it up.

yeah. my thing is more that i have Radical Mood Swings in hourly or half-hourly increments nowadays. i miss my 20s and 30s, when i'd have whole days of reasonably decent moods. the divorce from my second wife and the horrible relationship with my recent ex totally traumatised me psychologically to the point where i'm just beginning now to function without the totally debilitating depression that had paralysed me over the last year and a half to the point where i was only taking one shower a week and barely eating at all. fifteen lost years. forty to fifty-five. now i get/have to figure out what the fuck to do with the rest of my life.

Mayday, i've got a PC down

don't have the most money for the repair and need it superfast because of my school - and those motherfukkers at the shop are "too busy to guarantee they can handle it this week"
