Think I worked out a better schedule for practice for my originals band. Girls are actually responding to my stupid online dating thing, and I think its gonna be an easy night at work: my boss left as I got in and one of the two customers here bought me two shots right away.

Maybe there's going to be a storm and I get to not go to work. I'm probably going to do a lot of reading and drawing, if the power goes out. Which could hopefully motivate me to do those things more often, like I've been wanting.
The internet is just... so much easier.

watching Queen from Montral 1981 on Palladium...this network fucking rules. so far i've seen Elton John and an elecrronica group re-rubbing his hits--the version of one of his songs which got rendered down to him singing one line from an early hit while the group piled up layers of electronica around him. THEN they played Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars which i never get tired of, FOLLOWED by the Queen 1981 show. Queen was SO great even when Fred was sick, but t see him at full crack and full voice is delightful. it almost makes up for wasting all afternoon downtown. but even then, i got to listen to Music for Eighteen Musicians all the way home after listening to Future Days all the way downtown. i had "Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me yet" in reserve.

I need to take a class on writing. Where I went to elementary school they never taught us basic grammar because it "stifles creativity"
I've cobbled together my grammar from reading, but with so many styles of writing - and without having that early baseline of knowledge - I don't really have a thorough understanding of grammar.

After stressing out over a lump on my arm for months (and having not had a proper checkup in years), I've been given a clean bill of health.
And I leave for Disney with my family Sunday.
