I've found that all 15s sound mushy to me. That's why I went with the 10s last time. But I'm finding that the Carvin 410 gets a little farty when I'm playing down around low A and B.

I'm not overly concerned about volume, I just want it to sound good, as I'm always miking up and going through a PA. I just want to make sure it can handle low tunings without farting out. It being light is nice though, the 410 weighs a friggin ton.
I'll keep you informed of my thoughts on the fEARful stuff. Sounds like it could be exactly what you're looking for.
I'm two or three Behndy vids behind.....but unfortunately I'm even further behind on yard work.....guess that's my next 3 or 4 hours.....

The fEARful stuff looks great, it's just wayyyy out of my price range.
As for yardwork, I spent the majority of Friday evening and yesterday afternoon outside. Finally got the lawn raked, fertilized and overseeded before the rain come today. I also got my hop trellis up and got the hops wound around the lines. Some of them were already 2 feet tall! What a weird spring.

lulz. i rent a house, pretty awsesome to have all the noisy shit i wanna do be fine and it's (relatively for the area) cheap for the size. but i fucking HATE yardwork. 'm not too into nature. the front yard WAS about 4 feet high. watching my dog disappear when she needed to pee made me realize I'M never gonna stay on top of it.
i now pay a dood to stop by ever 5 or 6 weeks and mow my shits. MUCH better.

YARD IS DONE!!! BAM!!!
The fEARful stuff isn't that bad if you build it yourself. I spent less money on these two cabs than I did on my last two Eden cabs. Really. No hyperbole.
The key is you have to own (or know someone who owns) the tools and skills to do it. My friends and I have the basic knowledge in wood cutting, building, and wiring....it's really not all that advanced. And you can get the wood precut for you...that would add another $100 or so.

Finally caught up on demos. Damn that bitcrusher is sexy. Nice and gritty. That's probably the only bit crusher I've ever actually liked the sound of. I dig the Organizer. If I didn't have the Ice on the TL, I'd be all after one. I do hope one of he guitars in Jet Jaguar goes for one and a Rainbow Machine, though. Would be cool to have in the band. Very nice demo.
And nice demo on the BASStard, jwar.

Yeah, I have zero woodworking experience, but even if I could do it myself, its 450 bucks just for the 12/6 kit, the 1212/6 is like 650. I just can't swing that right now.

THAT shit makes me lust for a different setup way more than TOOBZ. the fEarful/nEarful idea is like the Dinger fanned fret idea for me. it just makes so much SENSE.
only thing that keeps stopping me is i'd have to get two because i adore having the same setup for practice/gigs as i do at home.

DOODZ...We slayed. Great show overall.
Fucking worst Soundguy Asshole EVER!!!!!! Our vocals we're fucked for the first song. Big technical troubles occured. He came on stage screaming, he couldn't figure out the issue for a bit. I knew we were fucked when I asked the dude a question when were backlining the stage. Motherfucker got smart with anyone that asked a question. I am going to spread the word locally. I know he got the contract because he lowballed the bid.
Anyways, the projection show was cool. Promoter is going to use us to headline an event soon.
JWAR...the 25th rocked it!!

Fucking A, Delta. Get the 352 on Capture the Rapture lockdown and we'll tear up SWLA...then we'll swap it up.
I'm totally with you, Behndy. I need my practice rig to sound exactly like my main rig. Which I why I don't have a practice rig, right now. I have no fucking clue how I'm going to get a small portable head that sounds like the 16 tube beast Mesa 400 with the Ashly preamp. Sucks because I want to find something.

Hell Yeah...The 352 is about to be LAME, summertime, less college kids, smaller shows and touring bands come through to play for tiny crowds. We are going to mainly play outside Gainesville. Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, still down for some road trips.
Actually going to try and get some festival dates before it is too late.
The promoter for the show came onstage, grabbed a mic and said crank Dustin up, he's one of the best Bass Players in Gainesville. I smiled on the inside...
I also won a bass in a raffle contest, I gave it to my drummer. It was a cheapie, still cool though.
