Ok, ryan, that place was pretty sweet. Had to give the wife the wallet. Nice gear and was suprised by some of the prices. Might have to have my sister pick some stuff up and ship it to me

I have that weird archivist or hoarder feeling where I don't like to get rid of some things because I don't know when I would use it or I just like having an arsenal at my disposal. I have sold off a few things that I no longer use but for the most part I have a collection of shit that just sits there. There are a few things I wish I still had though.

^This.
There have been a few things I've been happy to see the back of though *cough*behringerhead*ahememem*...
but mostly, especially with pedals, I like having a library of crazy shit to be able to pull out if I want to. Like my Boss Digital Dimension, never giving that thing up. And its pink. Not like ironic pink or "I can live with that" pink. Its like gross 80's pastel pink, with a hint of glitter through it. Sounds like evil though. In stereo...dripping aural sex juice.
D-Day, on the subject of pink pedals, I've been hankering for a rainbow machine too. I have no idea what I would do with it though. Just become a one man concept band covering the whole aura of electric paedophile tones available.

That juggling shit is crazy. Who'd have thought juggling would get hardcore.

Also, diggin the ilovedoomage. Nice move, whomever was responsible for them ones! :thumb: :!!!:

Pretty sweet that Tom gave us our own subforum. Yet another reason ILF is a pretty neat place.

Yeah, pretty neat. So what will be the first thread outside of the main doom room thread?

I was listening to them all day yesterday, plus some whores, harkonen and Old Man Gloom. I was on a bit of a noise/post hardcore kick. I actually just missed seeing zozobra and kwc here and so to make it up to myself i ordered their new vinyl

What kind of cardio do you do? I have a bad knee and can't run for long periods of time. Sprinting isn't bad, but I'm usually doing things like Burpees and Mountain Climbers as cardio.

unless you're talking bad knee BAD knee like knee surgery i don't think you have a bad knee. just pm me already when you've got the time and we'll sort your damn body out :hug: :thumb: :lol:

Sending PM. :p

Damn, that was cool. I don't know what it was, but I liked it. I love it when society allows for niches like that. It's really encouraging. Faith in humanity restored.

Woah, I just noticed that. That is fantastic. Our move from HC to here was a damn good choice. I have myself and no one else to thank for that. I'm the greatest. Y'all did nothing. :snax:

I'm glad I am not the only one. That digital dimension is pretty cool. The guitarist from rosetta uses one too. I think it is 4 seperate chorus voices or something like that which is sounds awesome. The line 6 m9 has an emulation of it and I used it when I was using the m9.

This is a semi-dumb question;

Because of the S-1 switching on my Tele, the wiring was slightly confused and there is grounding issue and lots of hum as you would expect. I can't really get it changed (some of you have heard of my soldering skills) until I see my tech again (who lives 70 miles away) even though it's a simple job. Obviously touching the control panel solves the humming, so is there anything temporary I can do to emulate me pressing down on the plate without actually having my hand on it?

try this: take an appropriate length of an unwound guitar string. loosen one of the control plate screws and one of the screws that holds the bridge plate to the guitar. wrap the string around both screws, and re-tighten them to the extent possible. this should ground the controls to the bridge/strings and everything should be good. note: I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY IN THE CASE OF AN EARTH-SHATTERING KABOOM. while you're about it, it couldn't hurt to remove the bridge plate completely to see if the ground wire from the body cavity to the bridge has pulled loose.
