Guys (and gals)....I just went fucking crazy on the 'bay.

So I've been looking around for a new rig....saw a Mesa Boogie Strategy 400 Power Amp for a relatively low price and bid on it....then I saw the guy had a Mesa Boogie Strategy 500 Power Amp for a relatively low price....figured a bidding war was about to ensue but I for sure wanted to win one of them so I bid on that.......and won them both.

I'm driving out to Houston this week to pick them up. So I need to pick up a cab or two and a preamp, now......and sell whichever of those poweramps I don't keep, an Eden head, and two Eden cabs all before my wife starts doing her wife things.

aaaand I bought the 14" hats and 18" crash to go with this ride. Might pull the trigger on the 16" crash today.

Just got word from Brad @ Creepy Fingers that my wah shell has been sent of for a custom paint jobby and that my Ibanez OD 850 is almost done! Cannot wait!

Ordered a set of BKP Abraxas (revised '57 Classics with teh HIGH output) to replace the '57 Classics that came loaded in my LP Custom. Got da four conductor too so I can wire 'em up series/parallel with some push/push pots I've got lying around, get the variety going on.

Anyway, went with a dealer initially (largest in the US actually) and they fucked me, still fucking me as I'm waiting for a refund. They took full payment and 30 days later, after ignoring multiple emails and phone calls, they got in touch blaming the hold-up on BKP directly. I contacted BKP customer service only to find out my dealer never even placed an order, WTF!?!?!?!

That was this last Friday, March 2nd, 2012. BKP took my order direct that day and apologized for their dealer even though they had no part in this debacle. Further, they contacted me again today to state my order was complete and shipping. 3 days vs 30 days! I'll never order BKPs from any dealer ever again, direct only! Would've gone that route initially but I didn't realize their online prices included VAT, thought they were simply more expensive which isn't the case at all.

BKP's customer service is fucking ace. I placed an order with them two weeks ago for a Pig 90 and they shipped literally 4 days later. Seriously awesome stuff!
