I agree, especially since I like a lot of the time stretch settings and those are at the end. I wonder if that's something that could be fixed with a firmware update though.
You can always just cycle backwards to the two time stretching algorithms.

Haha I didn't know you could cycle backwards.

Yep, the preset button cycles forward, alt button cycles backwards.

Yes, very exciting.

Watched the demo and it sounded right, i'm looking forward to hear a guitar-based one (i know, i'm a boring guy).

That thing with the Outward doesn't bother me all that much. I'm mainly wondering if Bakfram can produce very different sounds from what I've already on my board (combination of outward, generation loss, a bunch of seppuku and industrialectric stuff). Hopefully more demo's will pop up once they're shipped.

So I’m not quite clear on distinguishing Bakfram vs Fabrikat capabilities. Is the Bakfram a subset of what the Fabrikat can do? Or does it have a unique lane of skills?

I intend it like a Fabrikat with less looping abilities, less ms, no sample playback and more focused on stretching/pitch shifting. I mean, at least this is what I want to use it for

Bakfram appears to have the same sample hold function as Fabrikat on the left footswitch.

Yeah, I meant all the dedicated patches for loop and sample scrub/freeze/mangle functionalities

I'm terrible at making demos these days. Will try and release some sound samples with Bakfram and Draume through IG or something.
FAB vs BAKFRAM:
BAKFRAM started out as a effect request on the general forum which I expanded and made into BAKVENDT. Revisited the design last year and expanded it further into BAKFRAM. Both pedals are based on the FABRIKAT granular time stretch algorithms. I've tried to squeeze as much range as possible into all parameters. It's kinda an idea of seeing how many modifiers I can cram into a confined space. Thus you don't have the same level of control as with FABRIKAT (e.g. feedback and looping gain on the same knob). Might be hard to justify having both pedals, but BAKFRAM definitely offers something a little different with the CLOCK and MOD knobs (more buffer memory and lofi sounds available with these) and the bonus programs (DOWN + UP) are unique.
Hope that answers some questions.. I'll be back with instructions for the internal sale later this week or early next week.

After being forced to return to the US and screwing my career for the next few months I really need a Bakfram. Faen i helvete.
