well, i know that it will work out in the end somehow. i've dealt with much more awful stuff. <strained witticism deleted> it's just the going through and the dealing with that's hard, and my various madnesses & eccentricities that i'm too nervous to chat about in the "Depression?" thread don't help. on the other hand, i have loads of experience in my field, a supportive partner, excellent cats, and lots o' fuzz to tide me over, and the unemployment compensation will kick in in a couple of weeks. i just hope i find work before i have to start selling stuff, which would really suck because i've spent the last four years getting equipment together and now have most of what i need guitar-stuff-wise.

i almost dated a dude who went around a whole circle of friends. all three of them. two long term relationships.

i sometimes feel like i have to be either a 'bassist' or a 'guitarist' and like, declare my allegiance to one side... even though i know that's totally not true.

I feel like I'm not taken seriously around here sometimes simply because I only play guitar.

I really can only play bass. I seriously cannot play guitar near as well as I can play bass. And, I have no urge or want to learn how to play guitar any better, because I only want to play bass.

Some people find this odd.

It's not wierd, I just hope, since you focus all of your energy towards bass, that you are a master (or atleast one in your mind).

That is the goal that I am trying to achieve with my playing although I do at time want to pick up a guitar and start shredding.

that is just the slayer fan in me.
