That's awesome. I love those old 60s Japanese guitars. They just have a sound all of their own. Will get one of my own one day. :thumb:

Yeah i'm really digging this one. Real smooth player, the four pickup selector switches are right where I keep hitting them with my hand and getting no sound output :grumpy: but i figure i'll learn to play it "right". my main guitar for many many years has been a 60s silvertone 1448. Its a short scale, not sure if its 3/4 or what but its so comfy to play....hollow body and wooden bridge with a lipstick pickup equals a really unique sound. As a bonus its a combo with an amp in case that roars for a three watt tube amp. i love them old silvertones

Dig the sonik yute JM's. I know Lee Renaldo is "known" but still wildly underrated, imho...

Yeah, I think lee's solo output is aces. I put in Novak wrhb's in the ranaldo and it just sings. Both guitars are really fine instruments....and maybe the best looking finish's in fenders lineup I think.

I just looked up the serial number on my guitar and it says it was made in '88, even though the 80s model is supposed to say "epiphone by gibson" on the headstock
