i can relate to that. i've been looking for work since September of 2010. i'm so sick of filling out forms to send to the bank to keep pushing back the date of reckoning on the mortgage, sending out resumes, and winding up broke halfway through the fortnight between unemployment checks. i just want to go home. but there's nowhere for me to go to.

meh dont beat yourself up about it and focus on being happy as a single person and the rest will come eventually plus maybe she was just not worth your time.
I'm sort of jumping the gun on this as i haven't been looking that long(2weeks) but i just feel unhappy about my current situation and job search. Have a handful of friends but i can't really hangout with them on a regular basis without money/car (even then i feel really needy since i want to hangout lots).
Been sending out job aps online only gotten emails back about how i'm not suitable. I'd try looking in person but it just seems like a waste of time/money with how previous trys have gone. Just want to stay in bed and sleep have stuff be normal when i wake up.
Did you tell them you have a sexy, sexy man-beard now?

If it makes you feel any better, I read that as "Mah wood fluctuations" which made me imagine a wiggly, dancing penis.

As someone who's worked in a Career Development Center, I can tell you that if your job search consists entirely of online applications, you are going to have to send out a shit ton of applications if you want any offers. Everyone applies online because it's the easiest way to find and apply for jobs, so anything that's posted online is going to have a million applicants in today's market. You gotta call people, visit in person, send follow-up emails a week later if there's a position you really want, all that good stuff.
And I don't know if you're looking for full-time or part-time or whatever, but it's really true that it's all about who you know on the long-term career path. Networking is key. Ask friends and family and stuff if their employers are hiring. A lot of the good jobs are never publicly advertised, so it's worth sending your resume to places that aren't advertising jobs if you really want to work there.
I... don't really have anything to rage about today. Hmmm. I guess that's a good thing.
