Just sent an email to my adviser about coming back to my masters program. I'm still kinda nervous about going back to school but I also feel hopeful/excited that I'm going down a path full of possibilities.

Somehow fucking around with cassette loops was a trigger. I haven't been this interested in or excited about music in a really long time. Everything's going well right now, and it helps that I've found some sweet new bands lately. Gotta keep the momentum going.

I think I discovered a way to keep my parents out of my room. Blast Last Exit and masturbate constantly (like I'm not already doing the latter, )

i'm watching the GP of Korea even though the channel it's on is supposed to be blocked on my cousin's cable box because it's a premium channel. first F1 race i've gotten to watch since the fall of last year

I'm in the same boat. I've been toying with hip hop and rap, and everyone that I've worked up the nerve to show my works to says that I'm surprisingly good. And I trust that they'd actually tell me if I sucked. Feeling motivated to iron out a couple of my lyrics sheets, finish some songs and start playin'.

Didn't even know Korea had a GP, I stopped watching around the time Schumacher started to dominate.

At one point, I downloaded the Pokemon Gold soundtrack with the intention of sampling it, but didn't because it wasn't red. If I can find a download to Pokemon Red's soundtrack, I want to make a few beats from it eventually.

Happiness: Worked on my solid state practice amp design some. I have an Class-D amplifier board that I've got wired up to the Weber Ceramic Special 8" from the Epiphone Valve Jr, and I'm using my mixer as a guitar preamp, which turns out to be terrible preamp (but I'll be designing and building a tube preamp for it, so that should help). Read and learned a bunch about amplifier and speaker pairing by reading some online resources.

Awesome rehearsal with awesome people today, I got accepted in a student club where I'll learn to DJ and get free passes to events the club organizes, my break-beat band is fucking fantastic, we fooled around with a mic, drums, vocals and an M9 today- fun!, I'm practicing parkour often and I feel great and I feel more confident and able, next week the break-beat band is making songs, I'm playing on a break-dance competition, and I'm learning how to DJ the week after that..

Spent the weekend visiting my friend in Savannah, GA. Fun times.
