Signs you're in a good relationship.

Me: "You know what I love?"

Her: "Pedals?"

Saw a friend of mine fill in on bass for a local band.

Halfway through the set, the guitarist started playing a song.

I was like, "Man, this is just like that one Wreckless Eric song."

He starts singing, "When I was a young boy..."

I go, "YYYEEEEAAAAHHHHHHHH."

Everybody is like, "WTF?"

Then everybody rocked the fuck out.

If you don't know the song:

God, I'm starting to fall in love with Milwaukee's music scene. I mean we've kinda been seeing each other for two years. I'm thinking it might be time we moved in together...

IKR? The day I got my EGC, we had plans to hang out, and then I told her I'd basically be inseparable from the bass from a bit. She said "I get to watch you play your EGC for the first time? Cool."

Tonight I get off at 6pm, which is an hour. And the earliest I've gotten off in a week. So I can fix the pickup switch on my Jazzmaster, and get some work done on Wes' fuzz

i listened to The Campfire Headphase a little while ago, and realized while it was playing that this was the first time since i could remember that i'd just listened to music rather than having it playing while i was doing, thinking about, or worrying about something else.
