I don't understand why the internet has a huge boner for this crap. I'm all for "more competition is good" but bleh. Not them.

Yeah, fuck Behringer vaporware.
If they actually had plans for affordable and original modules, why not. But clones of old Roland modulars when Roland is actually already releasing new version of that with Malekko ?
Just fuck off, Uli.

New case arrives tomorrow.
Stages arrives tomorrow.
Need to order the 1U modules for the top row.
Considering getting Warps and another Stages.
God help me.
New song btw:

Used some Euro for vocal processing towards the end of the song, but it's mainly Digitone, Analog Four MK2, Rev2, and Prophet 6.

For what its worth I wasn't trying to hype Behringer, just curious how we as modular folks felt about their entry into the scene.

I think it's cool if it gets folks with less money into modular? But I feel like companies like ladik and doepfer and others (particularly those offering kits) already have a lot of the basics covered, and these behringer ones don't look to go beyond that. But maybe the bigger profile they have will make a difference if they're marketing more at new modular peeps (which is presumably the strategy).
If they got into more interesting stuff it would probably be more clones, which I think with the size of the interesting module companies is pretty uncool. I could see them making a decent line-up of basic things like their boss-alike pedals though.

Lol, I'm also guilty of this. More roland biting is silly, especially when malekko already won that game on so many levels. I don't have a problem with all the cheap clone stuff behringer makes though, because it can provide any musician with valuable experiences they may not have had for lack of the originals. I used to have a DDM4000, amazing DJ mixer with copycat Xone effects, you can probably find them for $250 now. Best bitcrusher I ever played. I do also appreciate the enthusiasm for fine synths. He's a lifelong synth lover and wants to contribute, and that's fine. I like the Deepmind and the Neutron, both are quite worthy instruments in their own right. To jump into a waiting sea of hecklers with guns blazing is admirable, at least. There was some talk of collaborating with established eurorack companies to design new stuff, so if that starts happening it could turn into something cool and original...and I am curious to see which designers give few enough fucks to put their name on such a thing.
Oh yeah! Four Bricks Rook incoming. Drum sequencing endgame complete.

Case in. Rearranging system. It's smexy. Pics later.
Waiting for Stages to arrive. 1U modules come tomorrow.
Also, and I don't mean to alarm anyone, but my Sweetwater Rep told me something crazy is in the pipeline (presumably for Moog, because of what we were discussing before that). Couldn't tell me any more than that, other than the fact that he'd call me in 2 weeks about it.
Also Behndy tell me how the MD is. I might be selling my Voltage Block/Varigate combo.

If Behringer cloned some of their stomp box clones into modules I could see my way into being curious about Behringer modules. As it stands, nothing about Behringer modules disturbs my peace.
Not Eurorack but have a Macumbista Butterfly Benjolin incoming this summer. Banana instruments beginning to accumulate into ultra-DEATH Bomb Face Melter territory at my house.
I wish banana cables were called something more badass like GUN CABLES.
