I'm a bit late with some games, just recently started Transistor on PS4, which is really nice so far.
And Rocket League still amuses me immensely when the lag is not too bad (all the servers are far away from Japan  )

I want Fallout 4 so bad but its basically a 500 dollar game for me no matter what. I have to buy a system and the game. Maybe I'll just be a couple years late to the party.

The PS4 just got a price cut here in Japan (well, it'll get it early october) so I suppose a $50 price cut in the US too should happen soon enough. That could make things a bit less expensive for you if that's the platform you plan to get at some point...

I'm saving it for the midyear drought next year.

I don't think that the new consoles are going to have a radical price cut, they're just going to come with a heap of stuff bundled in. :idk:

I wish I had money to buy a console.....then again I don't really have spare 3 hour blocks to play games these days.....

EDIT: Does anyone have any recommendations for pick-up-and-play games? Games that are more gameplay with less menu-screen time? I usually dig hard on RPGs and stuff but I don't have the time these days to spend 30 minutes at a time converting items into other items and customizing shit and selling, and tweaking things, and so on...

On another note, I came across this today....
How rude.

Everyone deserves to play Bloodborne! Easily my favorite game of the past three years at least. I refuse to believe any action-RPG has smoother, more satisfying combat. Hell I'd rather have an immediate Bloodborne follow-up than DS3, but DS3 is shaping up to be killer it looks like.

Latest Wolfenstein games were very enjoyable for me to just pick up and shoot shit for a bit.

I'll second on this. Super fun. When you have the option of some really rewarding stealth or dual wielding machine guns in the same game, it's a pretty special thing.

I'm considering getting an xbone to play fallout 4 on. I don't think my PC is gonna keep up and I can't afford to upgrade it just now.
Anyone wanna talk me into/out of that?

Upgrading PC is probably more value over the long run.

I'd have to do the lot, which is pretty brutal right now.
It'd be an easier decision if Bethesda released some minimum requirements...

hell jia. New Order was the perfect mix of be sneaky if you want, blow the FUCK out of Nazi faces if you'd rather. and the right amount of depth for I DON'T HAVE TEN HOURS A DAY TO GAME ANY MORE DAMNIT.

There were big Fallout 4 ads outside Tokyo Game Show yesterday but obviously nothing playable and not even any booth presence inside... I did play a bit of Dark Souls 3 so it's all good for me :).
