Built a standalone skiff to focus on learning and appreciating Rainmaker. I'm only 2-3 days in but I dunno. I'm not sure I'm sold on it being worth the hp. It is quite good, and very fun, but I'm not sure about hanging on to it.

Rene is pretty great, I've been having way more fun with TSNM recently though. Sequencer mode, Arp mode. The TSNM is like the middleground between Pressure Points/Brains and Rene.

Now I just gotta figure out other ways to use Rene before I go all Mutable crazy... again.

Also I couldn't give less of a shit about what's popular, especially in the world of modular synths. The world of modular is already small as hell, no need to limit your options. Just do what makes you happy. If anything, a a popular module lets me know that it's probably worth the investment.
