I'm pretty sure it will kick ass. It's the people who brought back Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale to Steam. If it was some random reboot I wouldn't be hopeful, but there is a good team of people behind it so I'm going in with my head high.

I just won't allow myself to raise my expectations, they're possibly my favourite games ever and I don't want the memory to be diluted. I don't think the enhanced editions team has proved themselves to me by making a full game yet, so I'm being wary.

Nearly finished one last playthrough of Snake Eater on vita before TPP.

I'm even taking a day off work on the 1st September.

My interest in video games had been slowly dying but MAN there's a lot of cool stuff coming out in the next year or so.

I feel the same way. I haven't played a game that has really engrossed me in the longest time. But in the next couple months both the Mad Max video game and Fallout 4 are coming out and I can see myself easily sinking a few hundred hours into each.
