I was never really that interested in the El Cap until I saw Officer Bukowski's demo with the loops getting progressively "lower-fi". I can't spend that much on a pedal but it seems pretty amazing.

I can't believe I spent that much on a pedal... Never in my life man. I'll have to watch Officers demo, I'm sure its brilliant.

Aw shucks. You're making me blush. Thanks!
I love looping with the el cap! That's my favorite. The delay sounds out of it are equally beauteeful.
I feel like some of my layering in that "demo" was really off tempo though. If I play something a little more creative with better timing it sounds much cooler. I'll have to record some better clips.

I just uploaded this loop. I'll warn you, it's pretty repetitive and it might put you to sleep.

Hah, I probably would if I could.
Also, Officer, that's an awesome loop.
I'm really enjoying how you can slow the speed of the loops in real time, as well as the high-end roll off and all the other options.
The Cap is going to replace my Ghost Disaster, I'm just going to crank the spring reverb on it and it'll act as both reverb and delay methinks

Just in: Burkey Flatliner Pro
Incoming: Strymon El Capistan
Arrived: Dr. Scientist Tremolessence (some weeks ago, but profound love, profound.), Paul C. Tim.
Out: Fender Blues Deluxe
Desire: EHX HOG, ss/bs Poly-Grace.
The more I look at the Poly-Grace... Now that I'm running my violin loops in stereo, and effecting/modulating the loops, the Poly-Grace seems like the perfect unit. Especially as it can be plugged into a speaker, which would be invaluable for touring.
