Had the exact same setup. The cabs are really good. The amp is ok for cleans, but I never figured out how to get a good distorted sound out of it.

Remove the grill. Take an appropriately sized hammer.
Hit the tweeter.
Repeat as necessary until the tweeter resembles small moon rocks.
Plug in and fuzz out.
