turn everything to eleven (assuming you have at least 2 dirt boxes, that puts you roughly at 33)

Friend of mine did this so he could have the tailpiece as low as possible and not have too sharp an angle between the tailpiece and bridge. Supposedly this gets you more sustain. I just copied what he did when I started out on guitar and have been doing it this way ever since. At the very least it helps hide those ugly coloured ball ends of my d'addario strings on side shots.

Left v2(electro harmonix something or other) as it was fairly new and figured it would work. It sounds fucking epic and at least twice as loud. I haven't even run any of my new effects into it yet and all the reasons i had to flip this amp have dissipated. I can only imagine how awesome it's going to sound when my les paul gets adjusted a bit and new strings. Anyone topwrap a les paul before, do i want to do it for mojos? IM RIDICULOUSLY TIRED.

I just put new tung-sol preamps and jj power tubes in my Vox and it sounds sexy as hell. And, like you said, LOUD.

I'm not sure what, but I know I'm going to buy some kind of new pedal(s) very soon. I've been holding back this GAS for far too long. It's exciting

if i understand correctly that you mean loading the strings from the front of the stop tailpiece so they pass over the top a la the original 50s Gibson catalogs, i did this with my Tokai when i did the last string change. screwing the tailpiece studs all the way down--which the additional clearance provided by the strings passing over the bar allows without the strings hitting the back of the Tunomatic--produced a slight but noticeable increase in sustain, perhaps 5-10%. the string tension on the outer string pairs was unchanged, but the D and G string tension was lessened, with the G in particular being noticeably easier to bend. strings were Ernie Ball .010-.046. i like it...the string tension and overall tone seem more balanced. but it gives the guitar a looser feel overall. all i can say is try it and see if you like it or not.

I raped calculus years ago. I didn't have a clue what I was doing most of the time, but somehow I got 5's on the AB and BC exams. Shit, that was when I was 16. I used to be smart and successful. What the fuck happened to me? /thinly veiled brag and self-criticism

At least I haven't had to take a math class since.
