i used a promo code from seven years ago and got a year of web hosting for super cheap. now i have to learn how to make a website.

Stepdad found a piece I'd been dreading on buying for my car in a junk yard today in perfect condition for less than half new. Pretty stoked to finally be able to fix the back hitch on my car.

Also really thankful for being able to run a shit ton of errands that I've had to do for a while now yesterday with my wife. Got my oil changed, emissions test done on my car, tires balanced, got money back from my Iphone since the price went down and paid off some bills with it, and then had a nice dinner with her best friend and the best friends boyfriend.

Played the final show with my artsy project yesterday. It went horrible, but we found the only dude who adored it (and looked like a complete madman) and hung out with him. We got mad drunk and had lots of fun afterwards. Also, stuff is looking up with the girl I fancy.

Saw some good bands, and met some good folks. One of the dudes (who just bought an Organizer) and I discovered that we have a common thread for an awesome guy we used to work with in MA (we are in Seattle now).

Good times, and it's a small world.

Writing Zeppelin-y / The Sword-sy songs about templar knights and justice for being wronged and fighting dragons. I think reading The Hobbit before the movie comes out is affecting my brain.

Edit: also been listening to a lot of Wolfmother, so that's part of it..

So I actually got to play pretty loud today and this totally isn't the case. ECT -> Barbershop sounds heavy as balls with tons of grindy texture. Mmmmph.

So in the last week the following awesome things have happened.

My dad was cleared of cancer, the doctors said no surgery and everything is looking great!
I decided to go back to school and am starting on Oct. 1st
My wife and I decided on a name for our newest addition.
I got to shoot a pig head with my 40 cal. Obviously a dead pig. LOL!

Been a good week!!! A GOOD WEEK!

Going to see Andrew Bird with my girlfriend tonight.

Also, new amp comes today.
