So I'm just kinda randomly going through the vids on the Darkglass site and where ever else they may lead me. I've now come to the conclusion that I can't stand it when bassists tap on the strings as a function of keeping time.

That second video is pretty bad. The dudes timing is WAY off on almost everything he's playing. Cool demos but yea...mine isn't perfect either but I don't tap to keep in time.

I'm not saying I'm the best bassist ever,...but I made a breakthrough in my playing when I started relying on my internal timing and stopped whacking my strings in order to keep time. Believe it or not but rest notes can be musical.
Last dude is getting some decent toanz out of that bass and pedal,...but from my house,...he needs to stop wasting his money and time on gear and focus on getting better at his instrument. Oh well,...he has a better sense of his instrument than a complete novice and at least he is trying by all accounts.
I also kind snarked out the Nick Nardone review over ambiguity over whether or not the B3K is TBP or Buffered.

I tend to do the tapping thing alot, but i try to keep it in context as much as I can to keep shit musicial
