Finally got my self-modded DL4 working again. Took a couple hours of trial and error to figure out why it kept making crazy squeals, hissing, and just not functioning right. So happy to have a looper in my arsenal again.

Haha, it wasn't a good problem. More like a mechanical problem that you wouldn't want to tamper with. Unless you like not having access to the delays and everything.
I could do it if someone really wanted it like that though.

Also, totally got paired up with the hot guy in class today. Yes, THE hot guy, you know, that one.

Just totally scared the shit out of one my friends (who is essentially my little sister), I spat out a quick doom jam and said "consider this your birthday present from me".
Maybe I'm just a dick, but I think everyone needs a bit of doom gloom in their lives.
Hell, I'm giving her a Ufomammut cd for a gift this weekend.

So, Kate and I finally talked. Before she could say anything, I apologized. I was lucky, in that she picked up in her room and her roommate was still asleep, so she couldn't talk. I told her just about everything.

I told her that I was sorry, because I've been an immature asshole. That she doesn't deserve the way I was acting, and that I'm sorry. That I would rather talk to her for five minutes at midnight, than lose my best friend. That I'm incredibly sorry, and that she was justified in being angry, and that I hoped she could just forgive me.

She was still angry when I called, but I think that hearing me say all that really helped her calm down.
She said that she was angry. That the way I treated her was unjustified and immature (I agree). She said she wouldn't stay in a relationship that worked like that (and I wouldn't expect her to. Like I said, what happened was ridiculous on my part.) She said that she didn't call, knowing that I would worry, because she wanted to make a point. I think that was a big extreme, but not unjustified. She forgave me. She said she loved me. And then we just talked.

The last day really drove into my head how much she means to me.

And also, I need to see a councilor/psychiatrist over the other shit that I mentioned. That shit is not alright, and needs to be addressed. I've been putting it off out of a combination of laziness and nervousness. I'm going to fix that today.
