$400 Rattle Crow:

Love this pedal, even though it has killed my ears repeatedly. So glad the one I bought from Japan was still at a decent-ish price.

Never seen one go for that much, they are usually not terribly popular,so the ones I've seen sell have been around $120-$150

Figured this Reverb ad was an outlier. It's such a cool pedal, but I wouldn't pay that much for it.

How good it is to boost the low end of a fuzz (88 > TB)?
It adds a lot of low end but it also adds high end. It does what it does and can add a hi-fi kinda quality to some fuzzes. It's not terribly exciting but it does what it does well. It's kinda supposed to emulate the EQ on old hi-fi stereos and the way they are eq'd. It really is better with fuzz than like on a clean guitar.

Rattle crow is a blast but $200 is the top top of that market.

Devil tail is like a more open sounding DOD death metal with EQ (and osc at high gain but wouldn't call it osc like the 88 or something). The DOD is more compressed and "that sound"...LAL is way more versitile but more picky about pickups. I wouldn't call it my go to high gain drive...Probably would prefer boss hm-3 or something but I love it! Should get it out more. I think Angel Ring + devil tail would actually be pretty badass but it has been a long time since I've done that.

SPK classic is the one you want....

Eivind gets first dibs though.

SPK2 is cool, but flawed in some ways.

Holy shit it sold.

Anyway, I finally got my LAL box from customs yesterday. Really like the Transroom so far. I would not use it as my sole verb, but as a compliment, which it does very well. Not quite a bathroom verb as I've read - more like a janitor's closet or a warping, seedy hotel room. The modulation is amazing, btw. The pedal will drastically change your sound, if that matters to you, even with the mix all the way off. Reminds me of the Industrialectric pedals where it's like you are playing into them and not "through" them (if that makes sense). Cool pedal, mang.

I don't know if this is a great price, but I haven't seen a LAL 86 for quite some time:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/382073222605

For 139.99 € in Germany. If someone from the US or elsewhere wants it, I can send it too you for a low price. Shipping from Germany isn't expensive.
