Haha! *high five* Season 10 booyeah! So Lister's accent is called 'scouse' hey? I love his accent, wish I could talk like that. I love seeing Chris Barrie do impressions of him, he nails his voice perfectly and it's really funny. So where does that scouse accent come from? Manchester?

Close. It's a Liverpool accent. Scousers are Liverpudlians. Manchester is a little bit different, even though it's only an hours drive away as the crow flies.

Cool, thanks Danny.. I'd love to know where all the accents live, I get a kick out of them. Canada has a few main accents... most notably, most Canadians say 'oat' instead of 'out'. But we've got the maritimers with their heavy accents on the east coast, the French Canadian accent of Quebec, and then all the rest of Canada, the normal people, who have no accent at all. *smile*

If I could pick an accent I'd pick Irish, I just like how it sounds. I like how those demon guys sound on death metal albums too, that's a sweet accent.

OK Cosmichorus news... I'll be placing production orders this week, I feel very confident of that, and then we'll know all our time frames and our prices and we'll start planning exactly how the pre-order should go down. I still feel like we have some points to ponder with it but I'll probably bring it all up in a thread soon so I can hear some more ideas about it all.

I've been using this Sn96.5 Ag3.0 Cu0.5 solder lately and it's actually been pretty badass. I figure even small amounts of silver and copper conduct way better than just tin and lead.

I think that's the case too.. 10 years ago lead-free solder was a four letter word but the world has adapted and it's all for the better.

Haha yeah I probably have that backwards! *smile* Your accent is awesome, Syl, way cooler and more interesting than how I talk, plus more powerful since you know two languages and I could really only speak French to a baby or small child with almost no vocabulary.

Best Canadian accent? Trailer Park Boys Nova Scotia accent? I also like how the Newfoundland accent doesn't say 'th'... like three is pronounced tree... that's pretty cool.

For my job, I speak with lots of people around Canada... and this is so true! I think maritimes people have the strongest accent.
I'm going there in two week.

Can't wait to play guitar with the Cosmichorus accent. :)

Everyone outside of Ireland seems to like the Irish accent, but once you're around it for a while and can't understand a damn word anyone is saying, it starts to grate. :p

Ryan, yeah, I'm an Englishman living in Ireland. I've lived here most of my life, and anyone that knows me considers me Irish, even the ones who are generally negative towards the English in a very patriotic manner. So I take it as a compliment that they've accepted me into their country and way of life. I don't really feel at home in Ireland as much as I should, but I'm only 23; I have plenty of time to find the country I want to grow old in.

Tanya and I ponder life in other countries a lot too... wish we could go live for a month or two all over the world and see where we fit in the best. The suburbs of Canada are pretty ok though, we ain't complaining.

Thanks for the pre-order, Ben!
