Pirate Windows 7.
Sorry I didn't articulate that properly. I meant it doesn't get me hyped. Can't deny it works in general though.cloudscapes wrote:It does generate hype. People speculate, internet threads get started, etc. It's not super informative but it does work in generating buzz.monkeydancer wrote:I don't understand why people put out trailers that say nothing more than "this is a game that will be coming out". No details on location, features, etc... ? Can't get hyped without actual information.
This is going to be rad. It was definitely a teaser trailer for us Vault Dwelling nerds.waltdogg wrote:First thing I recognized was skill magazine on the coffee table. Also you catch the Myterious Stranger in there? I'm so happy this game seems like it is going to start with the Great War. Looks like the main character might even be that dog's original master. Poor guy. But you gotta love that nod at A Boy and His Dog.UglyCasanova wrote:There is a lot of info in that trailer though.
I love how the first thing I noticed in the clip where the dog meets the main character, was the bobblehead. Indoctrinated much?
Two things that get me though, it looks like they're still running an engine that cant handle a high number of NPCs and why are there still skyscraper type buildings standing?
New Vegas is hilarious to me because there are more active nuclear warheads in Nevada than other single (known) place in the world. We'd be a prime target in a time of nuclear war.Iommic Pope wrote:This is going to be rad. As I'm not familiar with American landmarks and cityscapes, I have no idea where that is supposed to be. I'm guessing from the cartoon posted its Boston after all (that's a Bostonian accent, right?)?
I'm guessing tall buildings are still standing due to the fact that not everywhere got hit as hard as say LA or Washington (as in New Vegas where Nevada is spared a lot of nuclear damage) and that if it is closer to the end of the war, then there haven't been 200 years of decay or whatever. I'm sure it will be explained in the game.
Personally, I'm looking forward to the Desert Eagle and That Gun making an appearance (fingers crossed) and seeing what enemies there will be if not mutants and ghouls.

I'm right there with you...neonblack wrote:I never finished lonesome road. I need to get on that.
I need to get a ps4 to play this, but that basically makes this a $500 game. UGH.
I think Lonesome Road was actually my favourite of the DLC. Dead Money was just annoying and Honest Hearts was alright. Old World Blues was good too but it was more on the wacky side.neonblack wrote:I never finished lonesome road. I need to get on that.

PUNCH EVERYTHING.neonblack wrote:Gonna roll a New Vegas character. I wanna play differently than my usual boring sniper character.
Maybe melee, sneak, speech, and explosives.
the leaker states she used to work for Bethesda and was fired hence the revenge leak.LOCATION: Fallout 4 is set in and around Boston and the surrounding countryside.
In Fallout 4, mixing things up, we are making the game more "Story Based" and the player character will finally talk, and narrate his storyline.
At the beginning of the game, you create your character (You can only be a male in the main story)
The map of Fallout 4 is about 3 times the size of Skyrim
Three Dog returns as well, although he is only heard on the radio, and not seen in person.
The first version that will be released is being developed for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. This version uses a brand new engine built from the ground up to take advantage of the power of next gen systems.
