Trying to score tickets to Virgin Mobile Freefest. I'm going to tune in every fucking day until I manage to score some. There's still ~74 giveaways until the festival. I can get a pair. I know it.

I'm kind of hoping that if the VJ sees me tweeting on every single question (which I have been, even when I had to use an iphone to listen to the stream and text to twitter from a different phone), eventually they'll just throw me a set.

Finally going to jam with a drummer (and other people probably) for the first time in a couple years. Not sure how it's going to actually go, but it's exciting nonetheless.

Thanks everybody! I still don't know how we are going to manage it all (I was working at least 30 hours a week on our shit), but it will be fine. Right?

Also, super good luck and positive vibes to all who are interviewing. I forgot how stressful that shit is.

Studying and taking notes is so new to me, after fucking around through highschool. I'm still trying to figure out how to do it and have it work the best for me.

I'm actually really enjoying it, though.

Playing with a full band again was great. Even if it was kind of so-so jam band stuff. I played bass instead of guitar, but it was probably a lot more fun. Can't wait to do it again next week. :joy:

You know that feeling you get when you jam by yourself and it feels like every note is right, like every note played is a step closer to the top of a mountain. That's what I got right now :)

Had fun today at Knott's Berry Farm, tomorrow we're driving to San Diego for Sea World. I'm not too excited about Sea World, but we bought this pass with days at Disneyland and one day at Universal Studios and Sea World, so we might as well use it. Monday and Tuesday will be Disneyland which should be tons of fun. Haven't been there for about twenty years, I think I'll like it just as much as I did as a wee child though.

I did have my first experience at a Guitar Centre yesterday, kind of sucked. Lots of low end guitars and way too many kids trying to shred (poorly). Probably going to hit up the Hollywood Guitar Centre while we're here since that one seems to have a crazy vintage section.

If your passes include Epcot, definitely go. It's like Disney but with more of an adult focus. It's sweet.

Oh, and at Sea World, GO ON THE KRAKEN. If it's still there, at least. I tried to go on it years ago, but I was too small. I've heard that it's an incredible roller coaster. Also, PENGUIN HUT, DOOD. :!!!:

Also, I've been using pandora a lot recently, and I've come up with an amazing study/chill station: Chill as Fuck. Figured some of ILF might be into it. It's basically what happens when you make a Boards of Canada and Explosions in the Sky station, and filter out anything that's too fast or un-chill.
