Such a great delay obtained on the cheapz due to bum footswitch. Well done.

I wonder how the AD999 compare to the Malekko Echo 600?

I think the AD999 and Malekko E600s compare pretty closely, both sound awesome with little to no white noise/hiss. The main difference is overall tone. The Maxon sits somewhere between the E600 Bright and Dark sonically speaking. The Dark is incredibly dark (yet retains clarity esp in buffered mode) and the Bright is just that, reminds me of a DMM voicing minus mod. Maxon sits nicely in the middle there imo.

same here.
I guess time will tell if it lives up to the hype!

It did almost all the stuff my POG will do in a way smaller box - I thought it was pretty rad.

Finally snagged a SS/BS/DFAS Super Puzzle. We so excited!

Super Puzzle rulez, congrats! :thumb:

Good news on The Organizer too. I was a little worried when Jamie noted anyone hoping for the EQD POG would be sorely disappointed...

Thanks dudes! I missed out on the original offering and was bummed hard. I have Guyatone TZ-2 and Malekko mini-Fuzz variants of the Superfuzz, but I think the Puzzle is gonna be way badass-er. Can't wait to run it thru my SVT and some 15's.

Yeah, Jamie was kind of bummed when I compared it to the POG too...but I mean, the comparison seems inevitable when you come out with a polyphonic multi-octaver. The extra features on the Organizer set it apart though:

The "lag" is self-explanatory. The "choir" control takes the first-pass octaved signal and re-routes it back through the +1 and -1 octavers, giving you +2 and -2, plus extra +1 and -1. It can get a little crazy...pretty cool. Might end up being cooler than my POG. I'd really like to A/B them....

Today has been my favorite NPD day yet.

IN:

Dunwich FAC OFF
Ibanez Phase Tone II (script logo, in box)
Basic Audio Dirt Halo

I think I just damaged my hearing playing just those three pedals for the past hour-plus. Good think my amp is only 30 watts, or I'd probably be deaf right now.
Just all awesome, all of them. I was a little worried since I sort of impulsively traded my El Cap to BlindToFaith for the first two, but I am totally glad I did. The FAC OFF is amazing, I hope to get an amp from Dunwich some day. And that Phase Tone is an absolutely outstanding phaser. Simple, lush and chewy sounding.

And the Dirt Halo? Holy SHIT. Loudest pedal I've ever heard. So much low end and power. Never gets too out of control, and I couldn't find an unusable setting anywhere. John Lyons is the man.
Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!

Have you heard the octave down (without lag or octave up) on guitar? How does it sound?

I didn't hear octave down alone, no.

I'm hoping it can pull off a decent variety of POG sounds (esp the clean octaves and octave down) plus some unique weirdness. I'll be all over that sumabitch with the small footprint and projected price point. If that's the case, Im thinking the Organizer should sell faster than EQD can dream of making 'em.

Haha, sylnau on that never-ending octave down quest!

Truth! The FAC OFF rips far beyond my wildest expectations!

Truth again, you're on a roll tonight! Congrats, super NPD. Do you miss the El Cap at all? I still havent tried that thing.

I hope this is the octave pedal I'm looking for... plus the extra weirdness with tje lag and choir knobs... might be my dream pedal come true.

Totally, but I can get another. Those Ibanezs don't grow on trees so I figured what the hell. But I loooooove the El Capistan, absolutely worth the asking price new. I had mine for over a year, which is a long time for me. ;)
