I'm sorry you bought the wrong yogurt.
But diet items are really really helpful to people who have bad habits and have trouble dieting. If it weren't for diet food items, my diet wouldn't have gotten off the ground. Yes, I have now learned to control portion size. But at the beginning of a diet, just switching from Coke to Coke Zero can make you lose like 10 pounds. It's a great momentum thing and gets you motivated to keep the diet going.
I've heard arguments/seen random study summaries that claim that artificial sweeteners are actually bad in the long run because then your body is like "oh hey sweet things don't have any calories I should have more because there are no consequences" and you end up eating more. Whether or not this actually true, I don't know.
I know losing weight isn't quite as easy as "just eat less and exercise more," didn't mean to come across as condescending or anything. I just really, really hate the taste of aspartame.

Wasn't it brought to light in studies that artificial sweeteners give you AIDS (or something horrible like that).
RE Condoms. They all suck,...the only clear alternative is Vasectomies and artificial sweetener free diets for everyone.

I've heard about those studies, but haven't actually sat down and read them in detail yet. I'm skeptical.
I agree about the taste of aspartame. It has this awful bitter aftertaste, and I do avoid it when possible. Sucralose is a hundred times better.

it'd make my life a lot easier if i could stand artificial sweeteners because i live on Coca-Cola--i can't drink as much coffee as i need to get the caffiene to keep me going--but i can't stand them at all. they just taste wrong.

There are some more natural alternatives that are pretty good. There's a new zero-calorie Monster that uses Erythitol, and it hardly tastes artificial at all. I'm sure soda will follow suit eventually.
Most artificial sweeteners make me feel weird... bloated and such. Makes me wonder if they're any better for you at all. There's more to nutrition than calories, yo.

Coffee + Shot of espresso
That's my standard every time I get coffee, which is an obscene amount of times a day. If you have a high tolerance for caffeine like you probably do, it helps a lot.

Same...mine is supposed to come in on February 8 but it'll probably be a couple weeks later than that.
If you don't have the money beforehand, I guess they just want you to DEAL WITH IT.
Dunno. Sometimes my school's library has the textbooks.
The book buying/selling thing is a fucking scam, though.
Come onnnnnnnnn, financial aid! Daddy needs gas and bill money!
And stuff for school too, I guess!

Just put all the people from that class in a friend group and then set up that group's privacy settings such that they can't see anything on your profile. It's pretty much what I do to family members who friend me. Still really dumb to assume everyone even has a Facebook account.

Having to go to the military on Wednesday and Thursday for my health checkup. If I pass I'll have to serve for 6 months or a year after I finish school. I don't want to go there..... there are always such unfriendly dickheads working...

Compulsory Military Service: as good a reason as any to sabotage your own health.
