i really really wanted a fallout for the longest time, but then i decided to go with the reverend double agent instead. i found the low end contour knob more interesting than a coil tap.

What else on the market for a better price?

LP BFG

Necropost – Just discovered the G&L Fallout tonight and remembered the above... Looks pretty sweet! Nice workup with this P90 / HB pickup config, and it's available as a standard G&L or a Tribute.

Those look pretty cool. Interesting, seems the Tribute ones have mahogany bodies, but the USA models have alder or swamp ash.

Btw, saw this, if anyone is looking to do demo vids for G&L: http://www.glguitars.com/jobs/index.asp

I have way too many guitars, but I'll post the ones that get the most attention. Sorry about the shit cell phone pictures.

This is my #1, which is a 1978 Les Paul Standard. It has Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickups, I added the Bigsby, and just recently refretted it and refinished the top. Weighs in at a dainty 13 pounds.

Then these 3 get played quite a bit, too. I built the tele about 7 years ago, it's been through numerous incarnations, and I'll be making a new neck for it soon. The 1448 is my favorite guitar to play around the house and quickly becoming a favorite to play everywhere else, it also just got new frets and I compensated the rosewood saddle. And the thrashed Dano Convertible was something I saw on eBay and just couldn't pass up. I needed to repair a crack in the neck and fix the sunken top, but it sounds fantastic.

Then my primary acoustic, which is a 1940 Playtime (Harmony) archtop. A few cracks opened up this winter and it could use a neck reset and a new bridge, so it'll be on the bench soon.

i'm playing the nuke yellow one. my other guitarist got the pink one a while back and wanted the yellow rg since.
both are rg5501x 25th anniversary editions. they look ridiculous, but play so perfectly. and for our sound, they work so well.

This whole page is drool-worthy!

That LP looks so damn fine with the refinished top! Extremely nice work, Slim!

And Vuvuzela, those pointy-weird Ibanez things should get more love anyway. Good to hear you're digging it. (Isn't the neck very tiny on those? How is that working out for you?)

the neck is wide, but it's so slim. i love how it plays. for the the price, the guitar felt really complete and nicely set up out of the box. it didnt need any fretwork. i just changed the strings, adjusted the trem (their edge 0 trem rips.) awesome guitar.

Once you accept that there is no such thing as a transparent overdrive you have to accept that the only way for transparent tonez is a transparent guitar :!!!:
