'Ello.
White human male, age 21, starting now.
My name is Chris, and I've gotten started on the long, dark road or gear hording in the last year or so. I switch between guitar, baritone guitar, and bass primarily, depending on which band I'm working with. I produced The Ciem Show's first album, Lifelike Scenes (which can be heard here:
http://theciemshow.bandcamp.com/album/lifelike-scenes), and I'm in the process of getting my prog/surf/psychedelic/eleki project off the ground.
I (or should I say my alter-ego) filled in on guitar for Daikaiju through the month of September.
Other than that, I'm composing music for a documentary called "The Correction" that should be out later this year about a girl who is the youngest to begin the transformation of becoming a boy.
Excited to be able to nerd around and find more toys to empty my bank account for.

Hey All!
My name's Shannon. (Not female, sorry, I know they're rare around here). I'm 32 and living right outside St. Louis. New to the forum, I was put in the know by Ryan at Dr. Scientist and after a couple months lurking around, finally joined up. Nice to be here, although I feel it's one of the worst financial decisions I've ever made!

wellcome to love fuzz guys,

I hope for my part n00bs feel as welcome here as I did when I signed in, and hang on. You might have noticed, if You've been lurking on anf off, that the forum suffered an epic downtime but now it's up and running and there's much rejoicing.
Drop in general discussion to introduce Yourself briefly, perhaps show us a pic of Yourself, too, of Your favorite fuzzy, funky beuty and in gear subforum there's fuzzy pics of some pedals, too.

B/S/T subforum has a lots of pedals and stuff up by the trustworthy creeps for You to envy when somebody snatches them from before Your eyes

.
Read through and follow the simple forum rules, they really are easy to follow and the forum has been very, very free and lightly moderated to near the point where anything goes.

When it seems too much, check if You've wandered to drunk 'n high thread

or something similar, then take a deep breath and continue. It can be a smart move to check for the fuzzy elderly members reactions, too, there's Mods and old sods and Tom, of course.
So for the love of fuzz:

let's follow the simple guidelines and keep it that way, even when drunk and disorderly regular like me make bad jokes.

Hello :-) My name is Danny and I'm a musician in the Portland, Oregon area. I'm a multi-instrumentalist (bass, guitar, keys and programming) who loves geeking out on gear. I have a few projects: Disgustitron (where I play bass and do some programming), The Kitefly Arson (all me) and Rockin' Fuckin' Roll (guitar and silliness). I'm new to the whole forum thing, so bear with me as I become a proper I Love Fuzz member.

Hi , Im Matt from bonny Scotland. Ive just got round to soldering some bit n pieces together, and came across this site on my quest for simple circuits. Ive been playing guitar/bass for, well years (im 34, cant remember when I first started really...) but I left school and studied stringed instrument repair and fine wood craft. Ive worked in a violin/cello shop for a wee bit (god I HATE those things!) and now IM a computer jockey for a healthcare company. Currently Playing an 80s (Matsumoku) Westone Spectrum ST, Tokai Jazz sound Bass , and various acoustics. Amp wise, ive got a no name thing I found and a Grainger (Epiphone) Valve Series 5watt.
Hi All!!

Greetings, I'm Mike. I'm a 19 year old student living in Minneapolis. I just recently started playing guitar again after a year long break. I love music from death metal to hip-hop but mainly play heavier styles. Outside of guitar I'm a huge video game fan, XBL Gamertag=x2Black2Furious.
A little project I'm forming with some friends, called EelFist is going to employ some crazy sounds so I came to this forum to get to know the builders of these amazing effects pedals and learn more about which ones I should purchase.

Hello everbody!
Im Hacken from Sweden, or more like north part of Sweden called Norrbotten witch is like a county or something like that in the great kingdom of Sweden.
I got hooked on the Fuzz when a friend of mine bought a EHX Big Muff Pi.
Since 2003 i´ve been playing Hardcore/Punk/Crust i various bands, Dodeskaden, Kranium and Slavstat to mention some.
I´ve also been involved in the D.I.Y Punk Scene in Sweden for a bunch of years, putting up shows for touring bands, some of them from the US, like MDC, Born/Dead & Witch Hunt.
Music i like is mainly Punk Crust stuff but also Thrash Metal, Death Metal. Rock n Roll and all the other stuff, i dont know i could say i just like music.
I am here on this forum cuz i checked it out some time and got really impressed by the stuff people posted, like awsome pedalbords and cool DIY pedals.
Dont know if i can contribute with much knowlege about circuits and such but when something catches my attention i always read.
Gear i got.
Pedals: Boss HM-2, EQD Hoof, DBA Fuzz War, Blackout Mantra, EHX Metal Muff Nano & LPB 1, Ibanez Black something metal distortion, some crappy EQ pedal and a broken Wah pedal.
Guitars: Washburn A-20 Re-issue & Epiphone Les Paul Special II
Bass: Aria Pro II SB1000
Amps: Bugera 333 & Marshall Lead 100 Mosfet
Cab: Kustom 4x12 w Celestion speakers.
Gear i want.
Too much to even begin...
And you know living in the north of Sweden makes it kind of hard to try out all the amazing gear thats out there, even if my city has 3 music stores they only got the basic stuff like Boss and Digitech pedals. If i want to try the "boutiqe" stuff i have to go 800km to Stockholm.
Well how about that for an introduction.

Wow! You forgot to mention You're good in writing summaries!
Oh, and talking about painfully boring gear in stores, welcome to Helsinki t otry Your luck

all the really good boutique gear seems to be moving atm in the B/S/T threads of a Finnish musician forum; occasionally something sweet comes up used in the few small shops. And that's about it. Though I've been pushing Devi, Dwarfcraft and Fuzzhugger in the shops I use.
But hey - welcome, let's show some love to the fuzzy Goat
