That thing looks beautiful and there's tons of cool sounds in there

Did anyone ever try the Xvive Echoman? They're only $139 and with the saved pennies, you could always fit it into an oversized hunk of industrial aluminum.

Nah, but I have the Pigtronix Constellator, which seems to be targeted for similar use without laying claim to the DMM crowd. IDGAF about X sounding dead nuts to Y that some boring famous fuck used on some album I’ve heard way too much of for a lifetime. So I dunno if it’ll make a DMM head happy. It’s good. I would probably adore it if I hadn’t gotten a Rubberneck first—just more playable rather than on/off for perfectly pleasant sounds.

I won't use them, because I have seen so many broken units of those small EHX pedals. I bought one of them years ago. It's broken - what a surprise!
I am also of this very popular opinion (I'd be happy to swap out the glue-tacked knobs, but wearing out the cheap metal from the shafts also strains my nerves).
Why hasn't anybody done a 1:1 of the Ibanez DE7? They have been $100 for about five years now, which isn't too bad, but I always assume someone previously used them to throw at burglars and/or rebrick their brutalist garden path, which is why the switch is always snuffed out. Seems like a good platform for a zany rebuild anyway, right? Right.

Far and away at the tippy top of my GAS list. It's the next thing that I'll pick up. I'm actually reaching out to a friend to get some cash that's owed so I can pick one up. Looks too much fun and too perfect for me.

This thing finally came out, first demo I've seen.

I was pumped when they showed it in (Feb 2020?), but it's a bit too late. After so much waiting, I thought this was going to end up next to the 919 in the Hall of Pedals That Might've Been.
It's hard for me to get excited now, with the Raster 2 seeming like a significantly more versatile alternative. Malekko did drop a 2-min video, but it didn't do a lot to pique my interest either.

That Cooper expression thingy looks cool, like a more elaborate take on the recent one that OBNE did, I guess?
As someone who plays with my pedals at table level, I've never felt like I needed an expression pedal, but some of these new expression controllers are very tempting indeed.

Both of the new CooperFX devices have my attention. Need to dig in a bit on what they’re capable of. The Signal Path Selector looks like it could do both LS-2 duties and advanced feedback looper duties. Under MIDI control. That’s nuts.
