Ahabhabhahabhabhalhablha. Now I might have to try one. My main complaint was "too big to try." Maybe I can convince myself it's too expensive.

Also, strongly considering getting a uBURST. It does everything Clouds does, right? But smaller?

That 20HP Elements seems cramped as hell. probably tricky to adjust with all these pots next to each other.

I have a uBraids, and these smallified (yes, that's a word) modules are good if you don't really want to tweak the pots by hand. I have a (normal) Rings, for example, and I would probably not like a smaller version because the pots placement is perfect to be able to tweak/tune the thing as desired. YMMV, WTFBBQ, etc.

Used it again tonight, trying to avoid looking at the manual or cheat sheet. Had to use the cheat sheet but had a wonderful time with it. There's a magical quality to it when it starts to work the way you want it to, and a slight saturation to the loops which sounds gorgeous.

I'm also using Cold Mac a lot since getting it (mostly the right side functions) but it is already one of my favorite modules because it allows me to use one knob to change so many parameters at once.

I got my W/ to function, too. For some reason, leaving it out of a case for two days then plugging it back got me out of my endless Izzy overdub bug loop. It's neat but still on the fence about keeping. I'll let it hang out for a while longer -- seems more suited to ambient / drone styles than rat-tat-tat-core drum brutality but we'll see.

Cold Mac is the most confusing module to me because what does it even do? Sometimes I think I'll nab one just to see what in the holy hell it's all about.

Also, Dwarfcraft YEP incoming. This does what I wished 2hp Brst would do.

Hey Digitakt-ers:

What Midi-to-cv module are you using and why is it the best one?

If one of you wants to get rid of your Plaits or E352 let me know. Also I can trade IFM stuff.

@ Worra:

I have a Digitakt and an Endorphin.es Shuttle Control. I have not been using them together, yet. Here is what I would say about the why I selected the Shuttle Control:

As Flexible (probably) as Expert Sleepers midi to CV stuff but without having to do Scripting/deal with bad support. Connect your Shuttle Control to your computer and decided what you want each of the 16 outputs to do, multiple configurations can be saved as presets. The Shuttle Control can be a midi host or device.

Well, my Voltage Memory took a shit today and won't power up anymore. Fuck. It has been a bothersome module in the past, now I guess I'm just done. I'm also going to sell the Karp probably on ebay and upgrade to a Plonk, because it doesn't trigger from some modules that should make it trigger, and that is also fucking bothersome. :grumpy:
I'll be replacing VM with at least two modules - Four Bricks Rook for the gates, and something else that I can get 4 or more different long sequences or s&h outputs from? What is there for that?

Damn, I was hoping for a module that was significantly less monies than the Digitakt

Wrong hobby, I know, I know

Anyone else?
