So, Kate had been suggesting that I watch Daydream Nation for a few days now, and I'm finally sitting down to check it out. Interesting, weird movie. I'm into it so far.

Just have to get through 3 more days at work then I'm taking PTO from 8/24 through 9/3 (Labor Day) and when I "come back" I am moving from working in a cubicle at the office to telecommuting from an office in my home. This office just happens to be a wall away from my music room.

Congrats man. I've been working from home for most of the last 4 years, and now I'm changing jobs in a couple weeks back into going into the office everyday. It's going to be really fucking weird.

Sweet... just got word from our Work at Home department that everything is set so I can start telecommuting tomorrow. That means today is spent packing my desk and tomorrow morning I can sleep in until 10 minutes before I have to log in. Can't wait!

tearing apart my board, putting some pedals I haven't played in awhile on there, and trying out new stuff! Fun! But then I realize I don't have enough power from my two OneSpots.. FFUUUUUU-

Going tomorrow with a friend to look at his first (potential) drumset, it's mixtape makin time!

ALSO, I FINALLY FUCKING FOUND A WRITING PARTNER. Someone who listens to similar shit, and is into mixing electronics and guitars/vocals to play live.

I might actually have a collaborator for a fucking hybrid electronic/looping/guitars project.

Voxel (Dr. Sherman Sticks & I) played our first show together tonight.
