Damn, I really shouldn't get W/, because it will inevitably force me to complete the Mannequins lineup. I barely understand the fucking manual lol.

Does anyone use Cold Mac? I know Just Friends is pretty popular.

I use all the Mannequins modules except RIP! In fact I started my system with the main four, and I can say they alone lead to some mind-bending possibilities.
Cold Mac is a wicked utility that'll do logic, wave folding, feedback, panning, mixing, VCAness, envelope following, CV tomfoolery, and plenty more. It goes as deep as you're willing to let it.

hurm. this would totes not work for me in my current case though. there's raised sides, so can't reach in and be as tactile as it looks like one would need to utilize it properly.

...... after we move, i thinnnnnk i want a MN Skiff to out in front of my case. so. mebbe then?

oh jia! also, was SUPER stressed about the house we rent getting sold and had all the freaked out sleepless nights, but we got lucky. after looking for only a week we found a 2 bedroom place in a smaller (i think it's ten or so units?) apartment that seems super chill and quiet, an awesome safe area only a 6 minute drive from my work.

lol. i mean. there were only 6 places in our yarea that we could afford that took pets, so searching.... kinda.... had to... go quicker?

prices out here are fucking ridiculous though. it's almost 3 times what we paid before. which, admittedly, was TOO inexpensive for the yarea.

Thanks Vid! You definitely just put together a much better manual than what they did!

I'm sure it can be memorized, but that seems like a lot of functionality to remember without having labeling. There is something to be said for 2hp, though. I already don't use my Disting MkIV as much as I should and it'll tell me what I'm editing if I ask it! haha

Doesn't seem too horrendous. But... I was also the kid who couldn't remember button combos for special moves in fighting games. Button masher for life!

The explicit goal here is for this to be played like an instrument, with a bit of muscle memory.

I'm waiting for more info on a few things but I'll probably get a W/ as it should do the most important thing that was making me want to get an ER301 (though the 301 obviously doesa many, many other things) and it should fit much more easily in my system.

I need to sell my Folktek Mescaline and get a Teletype first, anyway. Nobody seems interested locally so I'll put it in a nice case with lots of padding/etc. (because no way I'm shipping it like Folktek did) and list it here and on lines first.
