It doesn't look like a very complicated build.

I know little about circuits, but what the hell. I'm gonna have a crack at it because it's christmas and why not.
Just looking at it - it's similar in that it has two transistors and a pair of clipping diodes, but it's a bit different.
The clipping diodes are between the gain stages, and there is a pot there between them. In the muff OD the clipping diodes are after the second stage and after the volume pot. The values are also pretty different. The Wizard fountain has a higher input resistance which will load pickups less.
The input cap is waaaay different, which will make it behave quite differently.
The muff now that I look at it is really similar to a fuzz face.
Maybe someone who knows stuff can chime in?

Also: The TP is rapidly becoming my favourite fuzz which was unexpected. I bought it because of Rfurt and because of the folks involved, but damn. I've found a setting where it's on the verge of everything. It's almost squealing and crazy, but it's not. It's almost getting an octave up but it's not. It's almost square wave but it's not. So it's this lovely balancing act between unplayable trash and something pretty consonant and articulate. Incredible pedal.

Oh it’s not too difficult at all. It’s just I’ve been on here for about 10 years wanting to but or build one and I STILL haven’t done it yet

That's the thing, it's one of the few toys I have that hasn't ever gotten old!

Yeah you're right. i think i confused it with the op-amp muff. which looks like half a tube screamer

A lot for me to catch up on. Glad to see this thread still going strong. Must be my best contribution to date haha.
Will soon address everyone regarding PTs or Wizard Fountains or otherwise
I know there was 4-5 of you that voiced real interest in a WF run. I'll start a new thread for that shortly...cause it's happening

The 90s kid in me always wondered what those holographic images that move, would look like on a pedal
