Don't think that's as described unfortunately - not aware of any Mexi basses with frets *and* no markers.

Yeah, it's been messed with. If I were seriously interested, I'd offer much less than they're asking. Unfortunately, I'm too broke to even think about it.

Here's the description of their Reverb shop:

"JMA Rail Road Supply is not a dealer. We are actually, a supplier to the Rail Road industry. To make a very very long story kinda short, we were bamboozled by a past employee. She embezzled a lot, I mean, a lot of money. Her husband is a musician and they bought a lot, I mean a lot of instruments. So, what we have available are confiscated lots from the FBI. No kidding! How could we make this stuff up?"

So, I wouldn't imagine 'em to accurately describe anything they're sellin' anyway. Good story though. :snax:

Yeah, that's a good story, but the one thing I learned in the gun business was to not buy the story. :)

Ah. The searing kiss of hot lead; how I missed you. I mean, I think I'm dying.

Don't lie. You've never kissed hot lead in you life.

oh but sir I have indeed seen Joe Bonamassa live in concert. I have kissed the hot lead and felt like I'm dying all at once.

Well, I know firsthand of the duplicitous dealings of which Mr. Furtkamp speaks. When I was a teenager, my dad bought me (what was represented as a new) Crosman air pistol at a gunshop. When I took it in to a different firearm dealer for service, I was suprised. Turns out it was reconditioned. :engarde:
